About Me


I am currently an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras Zanzibar campus (the first international campus of IIT Madras). I have finished my Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering, IISC Bangalore, India under the supervision of Prof. A G Ramakrishnan. My thesis is on automated sleep stage classification and diagnosis of sleep disorders using multiple electrophysiological signals, including EEG, EOG, and EMG. My research interest lies in the area of neuroscience, brain-computer interface, machine learning, and signal processing. 


I completed Masters of Technology in the Department of Electrical Engineering with a specialization in signal processing from IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. I worked on a gaze-sensitive communication platform for the elderly and disabled. My bachelors is in Electronics and Telecommunication from BIT Durg, Chhattisgarh, India.
