How to setup the Pi and add SSH

Step 0: Follow steps on previous page on how to download Raspberry Pi OS here: How to download Rasberry Pi OS

Step 1: Get all necessary extra materials which are: monitor, external mouse, external keyboard

Step 2: Connect your Raspberry pi to a monitor by plugging in an HDMI cord into the Pi with an external adapter and then connect a mouse and keyboard by using the usb ports on the Pi

Step 3: After booting up your Pi, type in this command to open the configurations page

Step 4: Here, you can change password, set up a host name, and change other settings on your Pi. But choose the Interfacing Options to configure the SSH

Step 5: Enable the SSH

Step 6: Now that it is enabled, we need to find the IP address of the Pi. To do so type in this command.

Step 7: Finally, on your terminal on the Mac, type in this command and you can connect to your Pi from your laptop
