[12/10/2020]: Finalized my section for the paper and decided to write the intro and conclusion together as a group during the weekend.
[12/8/2020]: Continued to do more work on the paper in the breakout rooms. I wrote some of my paper on over all usage of fpgas in data acquisition
and will get to more focused topics.
[12/1/2020]: Worked on the final paper with my group mates. We made plans to meet again over the weekend and finalize our research points and aimed to finish the paper the following week.
[11/24/2020]: Went into breakout rooms again and worked on research for the paper. I found some articles that may be useful.
[11/19/2020]: Finished the labs and then decided to break into our groups and work more on the paper. I decided to write my paper on data acquisition and how FPGAs are used in that field.
[11/17/2020]: Worked more on the labs and then decided to break into new groups, where my group and I decided to write our paper on "An Overview of FPGA Applications in the Robotics, Aerospace, Data Acquisition, and Medical Fields"
[11/12/2020]: Worked on lab 3. Split up our group as half of the initial group wanted to work on a coding project while the others wanted to do a final paper. The group I worked with was Arth J, Chloe S, and Valarie R.
[11/5/2020]: Finished lab 2. Researched final topic ideas with group over a zoom call. Still deciding
whether to do a coding project or write a paper.
[10/26/2020]: Worked on lab 2 with group but did not finish in class so we made plans to meetup over the weekend.
[10/19/2020]: Reread chapter 1-2 because I forgot some basic things, tried using Vivado but had some issues running the program. Looked at lab 2 but did not finish it.
[10/12/2020]: Worked on lab 1 with my group on a Zoom call and discussed when to meet up again to do the rest of the labs
[10/5/2020]: Finished reading chapters 11-13 of the textbook, worked on labs with my group on the weekend
[09/27/2020]: Read chapters 9-10 of the textbook, made plans to work with my group on the labs (Kevin Lu's #1 fanclub)
[09/23/2020]: Read chapter 8 of the textbook, reviewed previous chapters because I was having difficulty understanding later chapters because I did not completely understand chapters 5-7
[09/15/2020]: Read chapters 5 - 7, created groups for labs, configured Vivado and other software
[09/08/2020]: Downloaded GHDL and read chapters 1-5 in class and at home
[09/01/2020]: Reviewed the Syllabus and requirements for the class. Downloaded and skimmed textbook. Found out what circuit boards we can use for the class.
