Falcon Academic Boosters (FAB) has been created to raise funds to improve the academic achievement of all students at Highlands Ranch High School (HRHS). FAB is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The board of FAB is made up of elected members who are parents of HRHS students and is held accountable for all moneys raised and distributed.
FAB raises funds to assist with the purchase of learning resources and programs that will benefit all students. By raising funds, money in the budget can be directed to keep teachers which will directly impact class sizes at HRHS. The time is now for our community to show that high academic standards are appreciated and are a priority for our school and ALL students.
HRHS is in need of new classroom textbooks and other academic resources for many subjects.
Our goal: To raise funds to assist teachers in their requests for classroom supplies, from books, graphing calculators, whiteboards and more.
How you can continue to help: FAB is a 501(c)3 so not only does 100% of your donation qualify as tax deductible, your donation will greatly impact academic excellence at HRHS!

Q. What is FAB and what is its purpose?
A. FAB raises money to fund educational programs as well as continue to fund updates to our media room. By raising money for these projects, the HRHS administration can use moneys from the budget to keep teachers on staff. The direct result of keeping teachers in the classroom is the number of students per class, hence keeping class sizes down to a more teachable level.
Q. Can FAB raise money to keep or add more teachers?
A. Principal Page and HRHS Administration have flexibility in the use of their approved budget. As FAB raises funds for instructional materials, more dollars become available for labor, thus keeping teachers employed. This in turn directly impacts class size for students.
Q. I don't have a student at HRHS. Why should I contribute to FAB?
A. Supporting education in our community is everyone's business. Property values are impacted by good schools. Building on our excellent reputation as an outstanding academic high school with incredible support from its community can encourage home buyers to select a residence in our community. Basic supply and demand tells us that, as more residences are purchased in our community, demand for our properties generally increase, and with it, improved housing prices. The property tax dollars that support our schools go up, closing the gap on the current deficits. Everyone wins as the cycle repeats itself.
Q. Should FAB exceed its annual fundraising goal due to community generosity, what happens to the extra dollars?
A. This would be a wonderful outcome. The FAB Board includes Principal Page and we work very closely with the HRHS Administration. Based on their feedback, other academic needs will be funded during the current academic year as outlined by the Administration or requested by a department or teacher and approved by the FAB Board. The needs will then be presented and voted on at a general meeting of all FAB members.
