The National Health Workforce Support System (formerly Human Resources for Health Deployment Program) is the thrust of the government to deploy, redistribute, and retain health workers in the country to enhance access to quality health services and improve health outcomes. There are different cadres under this program: Doctor to The Barrio (DTTB), Nurse Deployment Project (NDP), Rural Health Midwives Placement Program (RHMPP), Medical Technologist Deployment Project (MTDP), Dentist Deployment Project (DDP), Nutritionist Dietitian Deployment Project (NDDP), Pharmacist Deployment Project (PDP), and Physical Therapy Deployment Project (PTDP).
