Experience? 15 years in upper level management, master scheduling, hiring and training staff members and upper management, team building and development. Currently a teacher with two Master Degrees in education and currently working on another Masters in Administration.
Why do you want to be on the board? I have lived in the community for 15 years and I felt that there needed to be a change in how we approached business. I also felt a responsibility to serve my community to move towards improvement.
How can your experience benefit the HOA? I am highly skilled in administration, teaching, preparing weekly and monthly action plans in accordance with the needs of the organization and to maintain profitability, budgeting, report management, highly skilled in computer hardware and software on both Apple and Microsoft products.

Experience? Over 44 years experience in Sales, Marketing,Training & revenue generation for several large tire companies. Supervised over 120 people in various capacities in the retail tire business.
Why do you want to be on the board? I have lived in our neighborhood for 4+ years, and would like to support our community in our challenges for improvement.
How can your experience benefit the HOA? Skilled negotiator, don’t jump to conclusions, and considers everyone’s point of view prior to finalizing any decision.
Full Name: William Woodrow Brooks III Go by Bill Brooks (Member At Large)
Experience? 22 years experience in the landscape field as a manager, I supervised the crews, worked in sales, design, billing and ordering. I also over the years installed many different landscapes from in ground ponds to very large retaining walls. I also ran the sprinkler department sales, installation and troubleshooting. I have also personally built my own house from the ground up including plumbing, wiring, framing, sheetrock, trim, tile, windows, painting, roofing, and siding.
Why do you want to be on the board? I go for walks often and will notice things like unkept yards, dirty siding, mailboxes in need of help and so on. I hate seeing garbage on my walks and I will often pick it up.
How can your experience benefit the HOA? I'm a good listener and try not to jump to any conclusions too fast as there is always another point of view.
Full Name: Cheryl Massek (Member At Large)
Experience? Before my retirement I was employed as an administrative assistant to the dean in a college of education. My primary responsibility was managing the budgets of the dean’s office and overseeing the budgets of the five college departments. As the office manager I was responsible for hiring and managing the office staff, hiring and managing the students in the labs, conducting and serving on various committees, spearheading NCATE visits, purchasing equipment for staff and faculty, holding seminars for incoming students and planning events.
Why do you want to be on the board? I loved this community as soon as I visited and I knew that I would be happy here as would my daughter and son-in-law. I have lived here approximately 2 1/2 years. The recent problems we are experiencing has saddened me. I would like to help bring us all together as a cohesive group to face these problems and find solutions. Many members of the community, I believe, have a great deal of experience in a broad range of areas. Working together I believe we will be able to overcome our problems making this community strong and happy as we move forward into the future.
How can your experience benefit the HOA? I am a problem solver, a good listener and a peacemaker. My knowledge of budgets and taxes will be helpful as we move forward. My ability to work successfully with large groups of people will be an asset. I believe in honest and open discussions and transparency in all actions taken.
