I'm a third year PhD student at the Department of Economics, McGill University. I received the doctoral training award from the Quebec Government (FRQSC) in 2024. Before joining the PhD program I worked as a senior Research Associate at the PGRP team in J-PAL South Asia. I also worked as a Research Fellow at the Verghese Kurien Policy Lab at Institute of Rural Management Anand. I obtained my Masters from Delhi School of Economics and obtained my Bachelor degree in Physics, Mathematics.Â
I am interested in development, financial frictions, and structural models. My research explores how credit access, political institutions, and social identity shape household and firm decisions. I am passionate about combining data, theory, and field insights to study inequality, and labor and firm productivity.
