A tradition is a belief or behavior passed down with a symbolic meaning or special significance with origins in the past. Football is a game that thrives on its traditions. Football Tournament is a grand manner to develop Harmony and Healthy sporting environment among the students and brother schools. Keeping a great focus on all these merits it has became a long tradition (since 2014) of HIMALAYAN PROGRESSIVE SCHOOL to host INTER SCHOOL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP every year and this year we are stretching our arms to welcome the teams from other states as well.
With great pleasure we welcome all for HIMALAYAN PROGRESSIVE SCHOOL - INTER STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 from 20th November in which more than 60 teams of boys and girls from Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana will be competing for the trophy and a cash prize of Rs31000/- and runner up team will be awarded with trophy and a cash prize of Rs11000/-. Entry fee for a team is Rs3000/ and if both girls and boys team will participate then fee is Rs5000/.

Rule And Regulations
Entries are invited by hand, or via Mail.
All entries should reach us latest by 5th November 2022 along with the participation fee. (No entries shall be accepted thereafter). Incomplete Performa will not be accepted and may lead to cancellation of entry.
Participants must be regular students for session 2022-2023 up to class XII. Schools are requested to ensure that no private candidate / NIOS student / Ex-student shall be the member of the team. Participation of any such student will be lead to disqualification of the team from the tournament.
Football tournament will be held on nine a site basis.
One team will have 12 players + 2 Coaches.
All the matches shall be played on Knock out basis. In case of draw, no extra time will be given. Even if there is no result then the decision will be on the basis of Penalty Shoot Out.
Draw for pools of the tournament will be done on 10th November 2022 at Himalayan progressive School at 11:00 am. It is compulsory for the Coach / PET of the participating team to attend the same.
All teams must reach Himalayan progressive School, Kichha for opening ceremony on 20 November 2022 by 8:00 a.m. with there school flag.
All teams must reach the venue 2-3 hours before starting of their match for verification of documents.
No team will be allowed to participate without team Manager/Coach/PET teacher authorised by the school authority.
Only eligible teams will be allowed to participate in case of any doubt about eligibility – ID card of school or CBSE registration card / class X certificate can be asked from the team manager.
The players whose names are in the participation Performa will only participate. No changes on the spot will be permitted.
Any non-designated person accompanying the team will not be entertained for any matter at the venue.
It is compulsory for the team members to be present with their sports kit and equipment's(Goal Keeper in separate colour kit, including Goal Keeper gloves, soccer shoes, socks, shin pad and guards)
If one team reaches late then bye will be given to other team.
Referee’s decision shall be final and binding to all.
In case of rain, no reserve time schedule for knock out matches. In this condition, the decision will be taken on basis of Penalty Shoot Out.
Bad behavior or abusive language used by any player in the field/outside field may lead to the disqualification of team.
Any protest against any player/teams eligibility or any other matter related to the tournament shall be lodged in writing to the organizing secretary immediately after the match along with a non-refundable protest fee of Rs.1000/-. The decision of technical committee will be final and binding for all participating teams.
The duration of all knock out match shall be 25-5-25 min. and the finals shall be of 30-5-30 min.
Maximum three players can be substituted in a game.
Teams should follow Good Sportsman Spirit.
Himalayan Progressive School, Kichha will not be responsible for any injury to any player or spectator during the match.
