Jonni is my biggest inspiration. Her work has changed my life in immeasurable ways and a lot of my work is derived from my love for her work. Just a glance at her art and you'll immediately see the resemblance. Her film Barber Westchester is my favorite movie of all time. It is the perfect encapsulation of feelings that I feel but haven't been able to articulate. Even down to her scrappier stuff like her boards and shorts - Jonni is a visionary and all of her work is very much worth the watch.

Victoria Vincent (Vewn)

Vewn is a very prominent member of the experimental animation space and I enjoy her work so much. Her use of beautiful/almost realistic colors combined with her unique staging style and perspectives make for a fascinating art style. There's no other art style like it. The subject matter in her films is a perfect mix of comedic and disturbing, often commentating on real-world issues. Her work is endlessly inspiring to me.

Bentl

Bentl is another big inspiration of mine. I've had the opportunity to submit 3 of my films on a consecutive basis to hir online experimental animation festival called the "BEAF" and each BEAF has been a joyous experience so far. I can't wait for more BEAF's to happen. Bentl's work is so surreal and xe uses techniques that I've never seen anywhere else. Xe uses this meme-y style of comedy in hir work, often taking inspiration from youtube poops it seems and it's used in a way I've never really seen anywhere else. Bentl is a visionary and I love everything xe does.

The Smiler

This is a bit of a stranger one. Not an artist, not an animator, it's a roller coaster! The Smiler is a roller coaster located at Alton Towers in Staffordshire, England and my art takes a LOT of inspiration from this coaster that I haven't had the opportunity to ride yet because I haven't been able to travel out of the US yet! I'm obsessed with this metal spaghetti bowl and its truly twisted theme. The School System was heavily inspired by this ride. The Smiler is so cool and words can't describe how much I love its theme. Both it's storyline and its theme song too... The theme song is both incredible and terrifying at the same time. I could go in depth about why this ride is so genius but I think that's for another time.
