Hello! My name is Hannah Parris, and I am a junior at East Carolina University, studying History Education. I am from Hendersonville, NC (about 25 minutes south of Asheville). I graduated from East Henderson High School in 2018.

I have always wanted to be a teacher, although "what" I have wanted to teach has altered since starting at ECU. I started as an Elementary Education major, and quickly realized I wanted to teach at the high school level instead. Teaching is a true passion of mine, and ensuring that students receive a quality education is extremely important for their future.

When I graduate in Spring of 2022, I want to move somewhere in the Raleigh area. I hope to teach World History or Civics and Economics. I am very excited to graduate and have my own classroom one day!
