The Historic Preservation and Cultural Resources Mutual Aid Network was created by preservation advocates to offer a simple way for people in our community to ask others for assistance with historic preservation and cultural resources employment, emotional, and financial needs.
Whether you're currently employed anticipating a layoff or reduction in force, underemployed due to decreasing workloads, a student facing a tough job market, or others facing similar challenges, please feel free to share your story and ask for whatever help you need. This platform connects people needing networking, job searching, and financial assistance with those who can help. Fill out this form to share your assistance request.
If you have resources—expertise, employment, financial, information, or time—please let us know how you are willing to volunteer to support these folks.
Volunteers will match asks for assistance with those who have offered to support. For unfilled requests, we will share an open call for assistance as needed to make sure everyone’s needs are met.
The Historic Preservation and Cultural Resources Mutual Aid Network helps build a stronger preservation community by connecting needs with available resources. We know there are many out there that want to help, and our goal is to create new connections to uplift and support our community during this difficult time.
We know not everyone will get the help they ask for, but we want people to have the opportunity to ask, and also the opportunity to help.
