Update: After failing to install the printer via the windows built in drivers, the other day, I was formating a different laptop and decided to give it another go while I was waiting and, somehow, even though I followed exactly the same steps, it works perfectly now. This is what I do... I download the universal drivers say for the m600 series.. It should be an .exe.. Download it, then extract it or run the program and it should extract a file under c:/hp_printer_drivers or something to that extent(It will tell you where it extracts, so pay attention).
