I bought the HP Deskjet 2630 today and thought I had successfully set it up with my Mac. I can print without problem. However, when I try to open the HP Easy Scan App, it appears briefly then disappears. I then get an Apple error message that the App "quit unexpectedly". Not sure how to get this App to work, and thus scan with my new device.

Thank you very much for the prompt reply and assistance. Unfortunately, that didn't work. I deleted everything and my computer is up-to-date. When I downloaded Easy Scan again, I had the same problem: opens for a second or two, closes and I get a Mac message that the App quit unexpectedly. I can scan using Image Capture on the computer, but have a feeling there are more features with Easy Scan if it would just stay open. Any other tricks up your sleeve I can try?

Thank you again for the tips, but still a no go. It stayed open for about a second longer, but still "quits unexpectedly". I was able to successfully scan a test page when I downloaded Easy Scan, but it wasn't through that application. Am I doomed to not having HP Easy Scan? Any other applications you can recommend that have similar functions?

I have tried to install HP Easy Scan on two MacBooks and while it creates a HP Scan App and a HP directory the HP Utility doies not get installed and when I try to use the HP Easy Scan on both Mac my HP Officeet Pro 8600 Plus does not come up. I can print to to the printer from the Macs but cannot scan. I have removed the Easy Scan app and the HP directory and reinstalled but still not successful. I reset the print system on the Mac too. Any suggestions?

I have been using Easy Scan for several years and never had a problem scanning from my printer then saving the document to my desktop. Since I upgraded to OS13, I can scan the document from my printer but when I save it to the desktop is delivers a blank page. I can see the scan on the Easy Scan screen but it does not transfer to a readable PDF document. It is blank

Recently, I got a new laptop (Windows 10) and I did the same exact installation. However, I cannot use the scan function in the Easy Print Manager. The option is greyed out. On both laptops, the installation process automatically finds the printer on my network and installs using TCP/IP settings.
