HP6475 printer does not allow me to scan legal-sized docs using the ADF. The driver limits the paper size to a maximum length of 11 inches. I don't see any reason why this should not be possible. Is there a way around this?

I have another printer which is a Deskjet 3700 series. That one is a decidedly low end consumer model. Yet HP has given it the capability to scan legal sized documents. I can't fathom why HP hasn't enabled that feature on the 6475 when there are no hardware limitations on the printer.

On my previous HP printer I had the option to scan to e-mail, which created an Outlook e-mail with the scan. The 6475 was set up with the HP Smart app, and sharing from it doesn't allow me to share to Outlook.

Step 1: Prepare for installation

For easy installation, power on your printer and place it in setup mode.

For printers with button only, click cancel and wireless button to wake the printer.
