I've tried a PS3 driver, it causes A0 prints to come out as odd sizes and just generally prints wrong. The client printer preferences page shows a different menu to the one on the server, and doesn't even seem to use the same driver as the server, despite them being obtained from the server.

I am at a loss. Has anyone experienced issues with this? Is there a way I can totally reset the workstation printer drivers? I have no options left, every driver has a problem. The only one I haven't tried is the more recent basic GL2.

Are you using PC3 plotter config files? I have found that page setup can be configured via this file and that it interacts with the printer. 9 times out of 10 when my CAD folks have issues with pen tables and stuff, they are on the wrong Autodesk Profile (if you use custom ones). And also when creating PC3 files, it remembers the EXACT printer driver name. Check out the profiles between the one that works and the one that doesn't and see if they are using the same profile.

got almost the same problem as you. in my old plotter hp designjet 500 Plus i can print A1 and A0 drawings in just one paper size (a0 paper). But in hp designjet t790 i cant use A0 paper to plot my drawing in A1 size.

We have had the same issue with our T790 44 inch, plots that should be Ansi D coming out 11x17. Now I see HP is not making this plotter anymore, so I suspect it may be a driver issue and difficult to resolve.

I failed to include what we are seeing here when plotting to an HP Designjet T790...using Acad 2013 on Win7/64 bit using the "44in HPGL2" type driver when someone plots out a D size print, the paper size is correct however everything being printed is reduced down in size to roughly a B size print.

Not all features are available in all editions or versions of Windows. If the driver listed is not the right version or operating system, search our driver archive for the correct version. Enter HP DesignJet T790 44 into the search box above and then submit. In the results, choose the best match for your PC and operating system.

Once you have downloaded your new driver, you'll need to install it. In Windows, use a built-in utility called Device Manager, which allows you to see all of the devices recognized by your system, and the drivers associated with them.

You might want to look for newer drivers on HP's site. This HP support page says that Apple no longer provides print drivers through Apple Software Update (not sure about drivers on Apple Support Web pages), and has a link to HP's driver site.

I had the same issue before, and a colleague told me to try this site for software and drivers, where I luckily found one for my HP printer too. Give it a try if you can find one that will work for your HP printer. 006ab0faaa
