I suspect this may be a driver issue. Irrespective of my audio output hardware (stereo jack headphones, ear buds, BT headphones) the output is in mono, not STEREO. Drivers up to date (Realtek 6. 0.9018.1)

We print over an ethernet LAN using a G-3 running OS 9.2.2 as a server for the printer. This was the HP suggested setup.Since upgrading to OS 10 and VW 10 we get post script errors and odd prints. HP has no other ideas!

plus a 500/500ps driver from which solves the many issues with the 500/500ps designjets. I felt abandoned by HP and until I was able to use the above mentioned drivers, was running OS9 on a Bronze laptop as a print spooler to resolve the HP driver incompatibility with OSX using HP tech supports "work arounds".

I use the GIMP-print drivers under OSX 10.2.8 currently and it works really well. It also enables printing with other applications to the plotter. Photoshop (Large photos, renderings, etc.) Adobe Illustrator (Banners, signs, etc.)

Thanks to everybody for posting on this thread. After a torturous couple of days with a deadline looming, I was trying to get my HP DesignJet 500PS to plot from Panther and VWKS 10.5, I scanned this thread and went to the Gimp Package site, 500 driver update and USB updates, and they work....no speedy, but they work.

I'm having problems installing the set up properly. I've downloaded the latest GIMP package and 500 driver, but the 500 driver doesn't show up in the list of drivers to choose from in the printer model set up list when I try to add the printer.

I suggest you try the HP Smart UPD driver for Windows 11. Do a manual install. For the plotter, the full designjet install should work. Any Microsoft driver such as Class or IPP drivers will leave you without features such as additonal trays and duplexing.

We have been seeing a lot of issues with HP printers and Windows 11 at our office (Driver is unavailable). One of my clients actually bought a support incident with HP and I remoted her in to the pc and she gave it her best shot but after 2 hours she gave up.

This is on a server 2019 Standard install. Multiple HP mfps, color and mono.

HP E87650 and E52645. Running the latest firmware 5.5. Tested using the latest HP V4 drivers to try to duplicate the issue on windows 10 desktops.

Testing Duplex as Installed and Not installed in the device settings on the driver, I am not testing duplex settings as a print preference.

When the V4 driver is installed on the server, all device settings are set as enabled/installed or disabled/not installed. I have duplex installed and enabled on both these printers on the print server driver. I connect and add the printer queue from the print server to the test pc. Everything prints fine, 1S, 2S from office/chrome/edge etc. Duplex is enabled and works fine.

But sometimes (not every-time). When the printer is power cycled or rebooted. The driver on the server has the duplex setting in device settings flip from installed to not installed and users complain they can;t duplex anymore since the print server driver has set duplex to not installed. The driver doesn't have it set as auto detect or auto config, only as installed or not installed.

I looked at using the HP PARK util to lock down settings but it doesn't apply or work on V4 drivers, only their UPD drivers... But that setting should not be changing on the server anyway. What is causing it to change settings and usually tied to a printer power cycle which I did duplicate twice.

Also, I'm pretty sure it happens with V3 because I switched from v3 to v4 recently thinking it wouldn't happen anymore and it did help a bit until recently when I change the settings on the printers so they would turn off automatically after 8 hours of inactivity to help solve another issue with those HP printers that get really slow at printing until you power cycle them.

The nature of the HP DeskJet 2320 printer model is such that it can serve multiple purposes. The primary purposes include printing, copying, and scanning at exceptional work rates. Also, the HP DeskJet 2320 supports manual duplex printing through an internally built driver. This same driver is instrumental in its compatibility with various versions of Windows OS and macOS. At the same time, the driver allows the machine to work with different print languages, such as the HP PCL 3 GUI.

In terms of copying, the machine supports auto-enlarge as a prominent copying feature. Also, it can carry out color copying as well as monochrome copying. Similarly, the maximum number of copies users can obtain at once is up to 9 copies. And the copy resolution is up to 600300 dots per inch (dpi). However, the expected acoustic power emission is about 6.2 B(A) during active printing. But the acoustic pressure emission is 48 dB(A).

HP also recommends that the operating humidity range should remain between 20 and 80% during active printing. At the same time, the non-operating humidity range is between 5 and 90%, with no condensation. In terms of the temperature, the recommended range is between 15 and 300C, but the storage range is between -40 and 600C. It also has an integrated memory for best performance. Meanwhile, take note that this model does not support mobile printing.

Concerning paper handling, the standard capacity of the input tray is about 20 index cards and 60 sheets of input paper. It can take five envelopes and 25 sheets in its output tray to balance things out. Physically, the sides of the machine include a height of 149.1 mm, a depth of 304.1 mm, and a width of 425.2 mm. The net weight is about 3.42 kg, which is ideal for the portable size of the printer. Download HP DeskJet 2320 driver from Hp website 152ee80cbc
