Who we are

HP Automotive LLC was started August 2, 2006. Don Hunter, the owner, was working at Jim's Standard Service at 6th and Garrison since 1988 and was content with his position there. Unfortunately, the owner's of that business were not able to acquire the land. As corporate greed rose, so did the rent; which forced Mattedi's Inc to close the business on July 31, 2006.

Thanks to the help and generosity of the Mattedi's, HP Automotive LLC was formed, with the original phone number from Jim's Standard, and most of the equipment. The first six weeks, work was performed from Don's parent's garage, or at the customer's location. A rental location was then leased off of Alameda and Newland, where for 10 years, customers could find Don and his staff.

On July 15, 2015, HP Automotive LLC acquired the property and building at 6294 W Mississippi Ave. Before moving in, the building was remodeled, and the business made it's final move on leap day, February 29, 2016.

HP Automotive LLC has always stood on solid ground when it comes to performing our work. Honesty and trust are the most important asset we can supply our customers with. We strive to give the customer as much information about their vehicles as possible, and help them make good decisions as to what repairs need to be done now, and what should be done in the future. In some cases, repairs are not the correct decision for the customer, and we will help them explore options of replacing vehicles; complete with pre-purchase inspections before spending their hard earned dollars.
