Where can I download the 1930 instant on firmware? I have a 24port non-poe that can't get on the instant on portal, and I'm seeing a new firmware on the poe version that's online but I'm not able to get the update. Seems like the instant on support has some to be desired updates.

i want to upgrade "JL686A Aruba Instant On 1930 48G Class 4 PoE 4SFP/SFP+ 370W Switch" OS from1.0.5.0 to 2.7.0.103.

Can someone please let me now if i can upgrade directly to version 2.7.0.103 or i need go step by step i..e. from 1.0.7.0, 2.5.0.42, 2.6.0.74 to 2.7.0.103.

Also, I don't know what switch you have but some of the older HPE/Aruba switches do not have sufficient memory to hold a new firmware for upload, and hold a backup, so you might have to delete the backup firmware -- obviously that carries some risk. It might actually be why your switch could not retrieve the new firmware.

You do know that you do also need an active contract to update the firmware else it is considered piracy, else they would have offered the firmware for free. That maybe the reason why the auto-update is failing ?

I was able to update (automatic way) the firmware in June. I believe I don't have any contract or anything with them for years. All I did is go to the Firmware section and click on Automatic update. It will do the update for me.

The Aruba Instant On mobile app provides common workflows for Instant On switches and access points making it easier to configure, monitor and manage your network remotely without the need for additional hardware like cloud keys or VPN. You can also update firmware on your Instant On devices directly from the cloud whenever you want, from wherever you are.

3) Check by redownloading the file from the aruba website, meanwhile also compare the fole size of the downloaded file matches exactly the file size on the website. sometimes the download would be incomplete however the file would be present on the computer. in this case a checksum error would stop the upgrade process on the controller.

I am having this issue as well even with the latest 8.4.0.2 firmware.

It has been since the 8.3.0.5 I can't get to 8.4.0.0 or 8.4.0.2 it just states upgrade error - tested on multiple controllers
