but... something change happens after I install Intel RST VMD driver:When I use Shift+F10 to open the console window, and start diskpart after the Intel RST VMD driver I see the NVMe disk using the 'LIST DISK' command, and before the driver installation it is not there.

Tow truck drivers risk their lives every day to assist stranded motorists and keep the roadways clear of disabled vehicles. Until recently, however, a lack of Federal and State laws allowed the ranks of the profession to be infiltrated by unscrupulous drivers who practice predatory towing.

A California law protects consumers against the worst of illegal towing. Under AB 2210, if you spot a tow truck driver taking your car, and the tow truck is still on private property, the driver must release your car to you unconditionally.

I followed the guide above, but can't get the drivers to compile and install using the instructions above (and numerous variations). The AUR packages don't compile, so I downloaded the git source & I've managed to overcome the various compile errors by editing various makefiles and using "make menuconfig" to compile only drivers I want, but just when I thought all was good, I ran into the following with "sudo make install"

Since I have the Hauppauge HVR-2210 variant, this resulted in the firmware loading, although still with errors. As evidenced above - the 2210 isn't one of the card=n options. The card is listed in the kernel output as "CORE saa7164[0]: subsystem: 0070:8953, board: Unknown". Apparently the 8953 variant (the 2210) is still not ready for prime time.

Further update: I managed to compile and install the drivers! I pulled the tarball for the AUR package "v4l-dvd-git". Ran makepkg to pull the git tree. Opened the v4l folder under sources and manually edited all references in the makefiles from "(KERNELSOURCE) "to "3.0-ARCH". I then compiled manually, disregarding the AUR script, which insists on an unmodified src. sudo make install worked!

The HVR-2210 now works with the 3.2.1-1 and later kernels without needing to compile your own patched drivers. No modprobe.d options file is needed. The card is still reported as "unrecognized Hauppauge Model #89009", but works OK (although I still don't have dual tuners working - that could be my MythTV setup).

Thanks Sultansoswing. I am awaiting delivery of my new PC with a Hauppauge HVR2210 MCE Kit in it. It only just occurred to me that I might struggle for support in Linux for the card. Looks like you have it covered. Hopefully full support for this card will come along soon. I'm sure this information will get me going in the meentime.

I have put Windows 10 on my 12 inch MacBook 2016 and the drivers for bluetooth seem to be not working. When I look in the notifications bar, bluetooth is not there and when I go into settings it's the same thing. When I go into device manager the same thing happens, bluetooth is missing. However, there is a Broadcom driver that says Code 10, that the driver's door is open. I have completely reinstalled Windows 10 through Bootcamp and also tried Parallels to see if anything was different many times but nothing seems to work. I've also downloaded the Windows Support software from Bootcamp to a USB but it doesn't seem to work. I did however last night able to get the driver working thankfully by going into Devices and Printers and troubleshooting it which fixed it, bluetooth worked perfectly. However, when I went back into MacOs and then back into Windows, it was missing again, the troubleshoot didn't work and I just don't know what to do. I feel I've tried everything. I know bluetooth can work in Windows but this seems like a driver issue I just don't know how to fix.

From Windows Device Manager, you can right-click on the Broadcom BT entry, delete it, and install the driver manually. You will need to download the driver packages manually from Apple using BC Assistant and Action -> Download... to a USB Flash drive and then point to the Broadcom BT driver.

Can you check Bootcamp.xml? It should have an order of driver installation. If you get it installed and working, create a Windows System Restore point, which should allow you restore to that state, in case it is corrupted.

I gave that option a go, I wasn't sure what to find in the Bootcamp.xml file. But after I got it working I did create a System Restore point, restarted the computer and it was gone so booted from the System Restore. But that didn't work either unfortunately. I suppose I have to keep trying with the installation again which is good to know it can work after that. But even then it's a fluke as it doesn't work every single time, meaning I have to uninstall the driver and open the .exe files in the Windows Support folder and then scan for hardware changes for it to come back. Sometimes bluetooth comes back but sometimes it takes a couple goes as the driver just shows the error. Thankful for your help, I'm just hoping that a software update can fix this. I'm also curious if this is happening to the new MacBook Pros.

It happens to 2016 Macs. If you have a System Restore point, can you use pnputil.exe to clean up driver store, uninstall the drivers and delete the BT adapter(s) and reboot and then try to install it again. 0852c4b9a8
