While the Fight Club 5th Edition app is great for tracking information about your characters, a lot of information is missing from the app when you download it. That is why I have put together this resource for you, so you can have a complete version of the resource for your needs.
Step 1: Make sure that you have downloaded the compendium file from the Home screen. You can save the file to your device or to your Google Drive, but make sure that you know where to find it for Step 5.
Step 2: Downloas the Fight Club 5th Edition app. Searching for the app by name will bring it up as the first result in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. It will look like this for both versions:
The compendium integration differs slightly depending on what device you are using. Please follow the directions for your device as detailed below:
ANDROID
Step 3: Look for and tap the following icon from the main screen of the app to open the app compendium:
Step 4: On the Compendium screen, look for the "Import" icon. It will be along the top of the screen and will look like this:
Step 5: Select the "Import" option on the window that pops up. You will then be prompted to navigate to find the file from where you saved it in Step 1. Once you have selected the file, you will be prompted to "Overwrite" or "Keep Existing". It will be best practice to "Overwrite" any time you update the compendium file from this website to ensure you have the most up to date information and performance improvements.
APPLE
Step 3: Look for and tap the following icon from the main screen of the app to open the app compendium:
Step 4: On the Compendium screen, look for the "Import" icon. It will be along the bottom of the screen and will look like this:
Step 5: Select the "Select File" option on the window that pops up. You will then be prompted to navigate to find the file from where you saved it in Step 1. Once you have selected the file, you will be prompted to "Replace" or "Keep Both". It will be best practice to "Replace" any time you update the compendium file from this website to ensure you have the most up to date information and performance improvements.
