There is no official Google Drive Linux client
Sharing with Linux from Google Drive does not work at this time
Download Free File Sync
Download the Free File Sync from https://freefilesync.org/
In the Files app to open the .tz file
In the FIles app, select and drag the .run file to Linux files
Enable excution
chmod +x FreeFileSync_14.3_Install.run
Run the installation
accept the defaults and press ENTER
./FreeFileSync_14.3_Install.run
Create the local theWord folder
cd ~/
mkdir theWord
Open Free File Sync
Command line is freefilesync
Select the 3-dots to the right of Browse
Select Google Drive
Select Add connection
This will open a browser and prompt for you to select the Google Account you want to use
Follow the prompts
select Browse and select theWord folder
select OK
Select Browse and open the local theWord folder
Do a Compare
Select Compare
Do a Synchronize
Select Synchronize
Two way
This is a good way to see how long a full synchronisation takes
Save the configuraton as a batch job to the home folder
Select File > Save as batch job...
Select Auto-close
Select Save As...
Set Name to theword.ffs_batch
Select Save
Close Free File Sync
Before using theWord
FreeFileSync ~/theWord.ffs_batch
Run theWord
wine explorer /desktop=theWord,1920x1080 theword.exe
You may need to specify a display scale
sommelier -X --scale=0.5 wine explorer /desktop=theWord,1920x1080 theword.exe
After using theWord
FreeFileSync ~/theWord.ffs_batch
