How To Plan a Flower Garden
Introduction:
The purpose of this learning exercise, How to Plan a Flower Garden, is to familiarize you with the steps to plan and construct a flower garden in 30 days or less. It includes a video, pre-test, final quiz, document reviewing the implementation of Mayer's Multimedia Principles, and the references used for the project.
The website, its components and the learning exercise can be accessed and viewed with your laptop or desktop computer, or mobile phone with an internet connection. Audio can be accessed with your earbuds, headset or the internal speakers on a laptop or desktop computer, or mobile phone. You can navigate through the learning exercise and the website using the tabs at the top of the screen.
Instructions:
Step 1:
You should begin the learning exercise by accessing the video. The video can be accessed 2 ways - by using this link: How to Plan a Flower Garden, or by selecting the Video tab at the top right of this screen. Once in the Video section of the website, click the "play" arrow in the video thumbnail to start the video in YouTube. Within YouTube, you will be able to start, stop or pause the video using the video controls.

Step 2:
When prompted by the video's narrator, you should pause the video in YouTube and complete the Pre-test knowledge check. The pre-test can be accessed multiple ways - by clicking here, by clicking the Pre-test link below the video thumbnail within the Video tab, or by accessing it under the Pre-test tab in the website.
Step 3:
Upon completion of the pre-test, you should return to YouTube to continue viewing the instructional video. Once the video has finished playing, you should proceed to the Final Quiz. Again, there are multiple ways to access the quiz - by clicking here, by clicking the Final Quiz link below the video thumbnail within the Video tab, or accessing the Final Quiz tab in the website to complete it.
Step 4:
Once the final quiz has been completed and submitted, the learning exercise is complete. You can exit out of YouTube and the website.
