Living in the rural area ten kilometers from a small town and thirty kilometers from a large city I experience daily the serenity of country living. A country lifestyle is not without work however; there is always some project that needs to be attended to. Yard work, gardening, home modifications, computer projects, to cooking and baking can keep me busy, but all my work is done amidst the sound of the breeze ruffling the leaves of the trees and the numerous birds tweeting and chirping. In the absence of automobile horns, tires screeching and squealing, engines roaring, and sirens blasting I carry out my chores without missing the big city.
