As spring break is upon us, many students have many different plans: some are going away, some are going home. But for those who have no clue what to do for spring break. Worry no more. I am here to give you some fun ideas that you can partake in if you haven’t exactly figured out how to spend spring break.
1: Spend Some Time With Friends
Whether it be friends from back home or a group of friends staying at school for spring break. You can all meet up and have some fun. You can host a game night or have a movie marathon together. The fun doesn’t just have to be at home, though. You guys can go out to an amusement park or explore your city. But honestly, if you’re around good friends you can do anything and still have a ball.
2: Get Some Well-Needed Rest
I don’t know if it's just been me, but this spring semester has put me through it. So getting some rest is definitely on my list of things to do this break. Rest looks different for everyone so whether it's putting the devices down and taking a moment to breathe, having a self-care day, or just sleeping for 8 hours. Take time this break to rest and relax. So we can come back stronger for the second half of this semester.
3: Take A Mini Day Trip
This can be a solo activity or an activity with friends. But taking a day trip to a city nearby is an easy way to shake up your spring break. If you have a car, you can drive to your destination. If not, you can use buses or Amtrak to get to your destination. Amtrak offers a 15% discount in some areas for college students, as long as a student ID is present. During this day trip, you can try new foods and just tour the city you are visiting. If you really want to maximize your time during this day trip, it’s best to leave early in the morning between 6 am-8 am
