How to Help Our Climate

Our world is in rough shape, and it's because of us. Between the holes in the ozone letting in patches of blistering and painfully direct sunlight, the toxic fumes that make up most of the air in clouds in the sky, the increasingly rising temperatures, causing drying rivers and melting icebergs, and the hunting of animals and deforesting their private property... we've made some BIG mistakes. But it's never too late! We can start now and try to right our wrongs and make a bigger brighter world.

SEAGRASS FUN FACT:

Seagrasses are critically important for keeping our air clean and absorbing carbon! Seagrass, while helping algae make up 80 percent of the air we breathe, it is also where the babies of the sea grow up. The deepest seagrass beds are around 30 feet deep.

"We were brought together because our planet is in desperate need." -Jackie

You can do things as simple as not using plastic bottles, bringing a reusable straw, taking a reusable or homemade bag shopping, picking up trash on a beach, or recycling more. All these little things can make a big difference.

WHY SHOULD YOU HELP?

Because Climate change is a big thing, and it's wrong.

We're not just talking about the icebergs and oceans, but our everyday lives as well. Some people may think "Oh, well, climate change in natural and humans have only a little to do with it." But those who say that are wrong.

Humans have created great things, that have greatly improved the planet, but we've also created polluters in the forms of cars and factories.

A forest fire caused by lightning may be natural, but one caused by a careless driver on three wheels (Which doesn't happen often, but for the sake of the paragraph let's talk about the rare instances where it does) isn't.

A metal car on three wheels means one wheel is gone. As it drives it shoots sparks. Sparks hit dry grass. Dry grass catches on fire...

At this rate, our homes, our planet, our lives and way of life, will absolutely never be the same. So, let's start now! Let's decide to make life better for us and the animals. Let's speak up for those who can't speak for themselves. what we do to the animals' homes, friends, families, and selfs, every day is the stuff of nightmares. stuff we would never in a million years ever want to happen to us. so why do we do it to them every day? together we can step up and show the world we are worthy of it.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

You can help in many ways! Try using an electric car that doesn't release CO2 into the atmosphere, or buy paper from responsible forests, recycle, use a homemade reusible bag.
