QR codes are a simple way to share a site that you want your customers or prospective customers/teammates to be able to access through print. You can use QR codes to help people access a party invitation, a private VIP Facebook group, instructional videos, and so much more! The instructions below walk you through how to create a free QR code using the Chrome browser on your computer. The cool thing about Chrome is that it allows you to make a FREE QR Code, and it works no matter how many times your QR code is scanned!
NOTE: There are services on the internet that allow you to create QR codes, but be sure to read through your options as many will allow you to MAKE the QR code but will limit how many times it can be scanned. Another option for free QR codes without scan limitations is Flowcode; they do have a paid version, but the free version is great for just creating your codes. Some prefer options like this since the Chrome QR Code has a dinosaur in the middle of it. If you want to know your options, here's the link to check out FLOWCODE: https://www.flowcode.com

Open your the Chrome browser on your computer. If you do not have Chrome, you can download it for free here: www.google.com/chrome
Then go to the website you'd like to create into a QR code.
Find the URL in the address bar of that website at the top of the page.Â
Next to the address bar, you'll see a box with an arrow coming out of the top. If you hover over the box, it will say "Share This Page." Click on it!
You will see a pull down menu of options. Toggle down and select "Create QR Code."
Click the Download Button in the corner.
Click the Downloads button (arrow going down into a box on the top of the browser and to the right of the address bar). You can then click on the folder icon to find where it is in your Downloads on your computer. Rename it to whatever you'd like and VOILA! You can now upload that image onto whatever you'd like to use it for!
