A Community Endurance Challenge at Dakota High School
Start time 7 am
Welcome to a backyard style race for everyone from seasoned runners to first timers!
This is not your typical race. It’s a chance to push yourself, set a new PR, try something different, or simply see how far you can go.
Runners would complete a 4.2-mile loop starting at the top of each hour. Any time remaining after finishing a loop is yours to rest, refuel, recover, and connect with fellow runners at the stadium before the next start.
• Start & finish at the Dakota High School football stadium
• One 4.2-mile loop per hour
• Begin each loop together, on the hour
• Use remaining time each hour to rest and recover
• Continue looping until you choose to stop or reach the marathon cap (26.2 miles)
• Bathrooms, aid station, and on-site athletic trainer provided
Run one loop. Run three. Run a marathon.
You decide when you’re done.
This race will not have a winner. Time will be kept but there will be no awards for how fast you complete the laps. The main goal for this race is to get out with likeminded people and push yourself to see how many laps you can complete.
