What are the Elks all about and Who can join?
The Elks are men and women who are upstanding citizens in our community who believe in God. We are caring, charitable people who love supporting our community. While we do love and support our Veteran's you do NOT need to be a Veteran to be an Elk!
In Howell, we are very involed in our community. Just to name a few, we support LaCasa with food baskets at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas along with an angel tree at Christmas. We support the LESA in various ways. We host Arc dances bi-monthly for special needs adults in our community. We host an annual Hoop Shoot contest where athletes can advance all the way up to Nationals and win scholarships. We provide annual scholarships to outstanding local graduating seniors. We have built mini-libraries for Veteran's organizations. We have supported Senior Survivor. We hold an annual Trunk or Treat open to our community. We are very active in the community and continue to find ways we can serve the people of Livingston County. If you would like more information, please follow the various links below to learn more about the charity work we do and the impacts that Elks make.
