How To Stop Zoom Emoji Package Download Extra Quality

I'm trying to use emoticons such as ":)" in the zoom chat but whenever I do Zoom decides to correct it to the emoji version automatically; is there a way to turn this off? I've tried looking everywhere, any help would be appreciated!

I see your screen shot image - but my image looks a bit different. I have attached it. I could find an option to not have the animated emogies for my own computer (ie: if I was on a zoom meeting the emoji reactions I post will now NOT be animated. That is awesome

Hi guys,im in trouble now.The zoom button shows to icons,one emoji,and one theme icon.I need to remove the emoji so onliy solid black icon stay on button.Is there any css,php or plugin solution that can help.With Regards,Sam.

@rainfallnixfig thanks but again thats not it.i disabled css that hide solid icon so now on front end you can see both icons.I dont want to hide whole button,i dont want to disable zoom.I want to hide emoji icon,and make appear only black one ,that on hover become white.Hope this time explained more understable.Gratefully,Sam,

Yes, this has just happened to me, balloons and a floating thumbs up emoji floating in a blue bubble. Fine for a chat with my niece, but I don't know how to turn it off so when I'm teaching it doesn't happen! Anybody know how to change settings so this stops?

Note this does not prevent Emoji from being read or seen in the Messages app of OS X, it just stops the replacement of emoticons converting into emoji characters, you can still select the Emoji characters manually or by using the little smiley-face menu next to the send box to use and send Emoji from Messages on the Mac.

My touchpad on MBP 2016 13" with Touch Bar works fine with all apps, but some months ago the Pinch to Zoom stopped working from time to time. I could fix it by turning the pinching functionality on and off several times in system preference. By it kept happening and it bother me, especially when Im working on a design and zooming in and out is a very often task.

It's 2023, and this still happens to me still as well (in Affinity Designer 2). For some reason pinch to zoom decides to stop working from time to time. I don't have BTT or Magnet running. but who knows, maybe something else is conflicting.... It is weird, but will say that this is the ONLY app that does this, so I'm thinking it's not an apple bug, if it's an app conflict, maybe it's something about how Affinity is setup to work (I don't use Photo enough to verify it happens there, but i'm in Designer quite often).

When participants select a meeting reaction emoji, it will appear both in the top left corner of their video screen and at the bottom of their zoom screen. If a participant has turned off self-view (webcam is on, but they cannot see their video), they will still see their selected emoji at the bottom of their Zoom screen.
