I tried to run my android emulator but it froze at the Google Start screen and then crashed showing the emulator with a black box around it. I am unable to re-run the emulator because it says the emulator is already running.

This method was weird the first time I read it a few months back and the only thing I remembered about it now that I was trying again to prevent syncing down to my phone was that it was a pain to find out how to stop the syncing.

With a Samsung s22 running Android 13, and the simplest non routed no dns class c net in zerotier it stopped working.

zerotier.com shows that the device is connected but soon reverts it. The same goes for the client. It shows connected but goes offline after a while, less than a minute.

The vpn status bar icon never appears.

android-studio was installed via snap. But sometimes processes still hang in the background and eat a lot of CPU (and hence battery power) after closing android-studio. Then I need to kill those manually using the process ID with switch -9.

Thus, no general answer can be given on the question "how to stop processes of a snap package". This comment equally applies if you leave out the word "snap". So really, a specific answer is only possible for specific software.

Your best bet for preventing unwanted Android ads is to install a pop-up blocker on your phone. Alternatively, you can disable pop-ups and stop them from appearing on your home screen or your browser by changing your phone or browser settings.

Update permissions: Make sure you know how to update app notification permissions to stop pop-ups on Androids (including Samsung devices). Review your apps and verify the permissions they have.

Has this problem ever been resolved? It seems lots of folks have had this same problem but I couldn't find a definitive reason why or a solution. I have a Pixel 4A 5G and just started a paid subscription a few days ago. I can listen for about thirty minutes or so, and then for no apparent reason, it stops. The only way to get it started again is to exit the app and then try again. This glitch needs to be fixed...please!

1. Sometimes it will occur when my phone locks but the small Pandora panel will appear if I tap the screen; however, the features don't work. In other words I can't start Pandora again from that panel. Other times the music will stop at the beginning of a new song, or even as another song is playing (the Pandora full screen displays) but again, trying to resume the song doesn't work. The only thing that does work is to close Pandora, reopen it, and press play.

I have a Galaxy S21 and am using the free Pandora app. Whenever I am using the app on my phone and the display times out, Pandora goes to the next song then stops. To get the next song going, I have to unlock my phone. Pandora then works normally until the display times out, again. This happens if I'm listening at home on my phone or when bluetoothed into my car audio. Can't find a setting to address this. Any ideas about how to get Pandora to continue playing after the display has timed out? Thanks in advance!

Installing a pop-up blocker is the most effective way to prevent ads from showing on your browser. You can also stop pop-up ads directly through your browser's settings. To stop pop-ups in Chrome, go to Settings > Site settings > Pop-ups and redirects > and flip the toggle on.

Hopefully you never have to ask yourself "How do I stop pop-up ads on my Samsung?" again. If ads keep popping up on your Galaxy or other Samsung device, your phone may be infected with spyware, which can track your activity and send your data to advertisers. Learn how to remove spyware from your Android here.

To stop website ads and pop-ups, navigate to the site on your Android browser, tap More next to the address bar, and select Info followed by Site Settings. Then, configure your preferences in the settings listed under Permissions.

Another useful feature in the Google Play Store is Play Protect. If you turn on Scan apps with Play Protect, it checks apps before you download them and could stop you from installing a harmful app with pop-ups.

If you tested stopping a non-removable app and suffered no negative effects, you might consider freezing it or removing it altogether. Freezing is the same as disabling but is done using different tools. Before delving into the details, note that freezing requires technical skill and the activation of Developer mode on your phone. This mode itself creates certain information security risks by allowing connections to the phone via USB or LAN in special technical modes, plus the ability to view and modify its contents. Although Google has fenced off this functionality with many safeguards (permission requests, additional passwords, and so on), the room for error (thus creating risks) is high.

we dont have support for stopping another app, I think that may require root or device admin permissions, if not we can look into it for the app. If you can do it in tasker then you can configure tasker to listen for an intent that you would send using command_broadcast_intent from the link above this post. Then in tasker once the intent is received you have it perform whatever action you want.

Hi I have a android TV box called STRONG Leap-S1 and I'm worried its the same as the ones mentioned in the video is there any chance someone could found out or if it is the same, here is the link to the one I have if needed to do research on STRONG Leap-S1 Smart Box Android TV Streaming Media Player, 4K Ultra HD Streaming Device with Google Voice Assistant, Built-In Netflix Disney+ Prime Video, WiFi 5 with Bluetooth 4.2

The app is available in English on both Android and iPhone devices and Spanish in the Android version, thanks to a translation by Make the Road New York. Stop and Frisk Watch allows bystanders to fully document stop-and-frisk encounters and alert community members when a street stop is in progress.

It has three primary functions:

I want to make changes in some applications at /data/app from an

script launch from "on property:propertyname=value" triggerWhen I'm making this changes the PackageManagerService is running and

try to load the changes.I think that I need to stop PackageManagerService, I can use "service"

command to see the framework services and check the services status,

but I don't found the way to "stop" and "start" these services.Do you know some way to do it?

Any ideas?I have try stopping and starting zygote but this restart the framework

I and several users have complained about an annoying automatic update, We want not to force the step to android 13 . because me and some other users are staying and enjoying on android 12. Please don't make our time and let us decide for ourselves , I know if doing an update it will fix the problem . but we still to stay on android 12 for some reasons. and once again please stop pop up notification on main screen.

it is common way as usual and it's not developed for asus i have checked the whole even i tinkered and test sir! and only 3 options. and the best option is only "Do Not Allow" because it doesn't allow wifi and cellular data connection even though we got updates. if there is a feature like your answer i don't worry and don't ask! For the notification problem it's useless, the pop up keeps happening even I force close "system update app" in the settings> App section, if I connect wifi it's the same as repeating continuously even I restart my device, and it keeps forcing me update it. there is no solution at the moment and it bothers me to wait for the right moment and it actually comes on android 13. I stay on android 12 but obviously I was forced and the update system started itself without my decision.

samsung is a garbage company that purposefully do this stuff to make you keep buying new phones, def switching to an iphone. anyways in 2023 ive tried basically all these methods and none of them work but i have found something similar to a popular one. so whenever you force stop the "Android System" app which others have talked about it does get rid of the notification but still doesnt let you charge. to bypass that, put your phone on the higher battery saving mode which limits all background activity, then force stop android system twice and plug your charger in. even if theres the beeping from the alert just keep it in for a few seconds and it should work, it did for me. im just sick of this i factory reset my phone without backing up my photos so theyre all gone now. save yourself the pain and get a different phone after

Just bought a new a34 5g and this error came up, i tried almost everything, safe mode, usb settings cache, stoping android system, letting it charge in recovery mode, charging in pc, trying to bypass... I also did a factory reset. Nothing worked, i will go to repair shop tomorrow but with someone have a new way to fix it pls say to us.
