Jesus, help me save my marriage! I pray to save my marriage by your grace, mercy, and love:
I pray over my marriage, asking that you infuse my spouse and I with passion for life, passion for love and intimacy, passion to grow in wisdom, and passion to serve you together. May hope rise in our hearts and may our love burn for each other like never before. Revive us and revive our marriage.
Pour out your precious Blood on this marriage, on this home, on this family. Jesus, cover us with your mantle.
If I am the cause of my marital problems, forgive me today, in Jesus name. I release myself from evil counsel affecting my marriage, in Jesus name. LORD, restore and renew our love as couples, in Jesus' name. Oh God, bring back my spouse by your power and mercy, in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
It is God's perfect will for your marriage to be restored but your spouse has a free will and God won't force them to return. ... God wants to get you to the point where you can truly say that even if God doesn't restore your marriage, that you will still honor and love God as your all in all
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses.
Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.
My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. ...
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
To the rest I say (I, not the Lord) that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he should not divorce her. If any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to live with her, she should not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. But if the unbelieving partner separates, let it be so. In such cases the brother or sister is not enslaved. God has called you to peace. For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”
