Only Fans is a relatively new social media platform that allows you to connect with your fans in a whole new way. If used correctly, can be great for growing audiences and driving traffic.
There are over four million people using OF daily!
The platform has boomed during lockdown, becoming a site of choice for those looking to get their fix without the risk. With 120 million people using it in 2020 and $2.4 billion spent on adult-entertainment this year alone, there is no question as to why it’s so popular!
Featuring social media-like interactions, interactivity with (nearly) unlimited potential, and a video player that easily embeds into your website or social pages, this is the social media channel to take advantage of.
The site is perfect for the artist who's always on-the-go and needs to connect with their fans without a lot of hassle. For instance, if you want to take your followers behind the scenes or make one final post before going off tour, this site provides an easy avenue for that!
Growing your social proof and traffic on this site can be achieved through a number of ways. If you’re an artist who has their own social media presence already, sharing posts from it to your social media accounts will expand the reach of both sites drastically.
If you don't have an account on social media (in which case why not?), we recommend setting one up immediately!
Posts from the platform are often popular on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook as well, so consider creating another profile for posting updates about it.
While social platforms make it easy to link out directly to a URL or post in the description, this is not permitted by this one .
There are many things you can do to fix your page so it will get more subscribers, including but not limited to: changing the cover photo; adding content like posts and pictures about new releases or behind-the-scenes shots of when you're in studio recording a song. You could also try running contests for prizes such as signed posters or T-shirts!
To drive traffic to your page I recommend using Social Proof that has already worked for you.
The easiest way to do this is to link your social media accounts with the OF account.
Linking social media means when someone follows you on Twitter or likes one of your photos on Instagram these updates will be published automatically as "Albums" through the Updates Channel (a separate social profile used solely for sending out updates about your activity on this only platform.)
One area that nobody talks about, that is one of the keys to success on the most famous adult platform: Optimization.
With so many people subscribing, it's important not just to show them everything all at once, but to optimize your page too so they get curious and tempted to subscribe to it too!
Did you know that the average creator has spent hardly any time on this crucial moment in their business success?
Creators rarely look at their pages from a customer perspective.
They say if you want to buy a successful company, it's important to work there for six months to see if you enjoy working there or not first!
The CBS Television show "Undercover Boss" became popular because the CEO's actually had to go and work in their own companies for a few days. For some of them, it was an eye-opening experience that allowed them to get rid of prejudices they may have held about people who do different jobs than theirs.
A simpler way of putting this is, how often do you taste your own food before you serve it?
The article is about how you are presenting your meal, good or bad on the plate. All great cooks focus on to make food taste better. But...the is plating means making sure it looks as tasty as possible when served up front!
The more appetizing something looks from far away, usually makes people enjoy their experience with whatever they're eating, even if it's not quite so fancy in other places!
This article will talk about what kind of plates (or pages) you should use for OnlyFans.
An optimized page with great social proof and social sharing would be excellent for anyone in social media or social networks, porn industry or not.
And people know what they want because they’ve already looked for it, searched online, browsed around some websites, read reviews …but something about your website convinced them to leave their credit card information behind.
Don’t let this happen to you! Your social proof will depend on how good your affiliate social follows are (and there's no reason why only affiliates should display social proofs).
The more engagement you get before your fans even reach your site - the better results you are likely to get more subscribers.
Well..you could take the shortest way : buying some followers and likes in order to display a good amount of subs that are having a great experience (aka Likes) on your profile, or just working hard for it, including Twitter following trains, paying bigger accounts to promote you, paid ADS ecc.
NOTE: Beware how you build the ads, you don't want the platforms to drive you poor leads, adult content is still not that loved by FB, Twitter ecc. You need a good system and great Marketing skills in order to set it up to avoid this.
I recommend you to check followerslover.com - they have all you need if you are tempted to choose the shortest way to gain Social Proof, plus we used it and we don't have anything to complain about.
uhm...of course we use many strategies including paid services :) just in case you are wondering :p
Or you can used both (hard working and paid services)in order to have more power on your profile, from the Start!
Hard working is a must in any case! But when hard work is mixed with having fun too, there's nothing you could want more from your business life.
So let's say if we're being generous, that 3 out of 4 people at minimum are going to hit your page, think about subscribing and then leave.
To put it another way imagine if right now 9 out of 10 people are going to your page and not subscribing.. by making a few changes you could bump up from 8% conversion rate overnight!
Let’s be honest right now. An OnlyFans Profile page is very very limiting as far as what you can do with it.
As we discussed you don't even have the ability to create meta information for your page so that Google can find it easier for search terms. The site is generally setup in a way that makes us wonder how anyone really succeeds well on this platform?
Luckily, with few factors to work within, means there are only a couple of areas which one might improve upon and get their conversion messages across to potential subscribers-namely: It also means that these factors will have an out sized effect on your success on the platform.
The most important thing to remember is that your subscribers will only convert if they feel like you care about them.
This means paying attention to detail and pleasing their senses through images, colors or sounds.
We have a list of the main areas where marketers should concentrate on for subscriber conversion:

Conversion Page Factors
It's time to get started on customizing your Page!
Before we take a look at each of the areas you can control, I want to go over some conversion factors. You'll come across these throughout this guide and if any are unfamiliar don't worry - they're all really easy (seriously).
Focus
The people who visit your website are more likely to take action if you zero in on one link or call-to-action that they should click.
That way, visitors don't get overwhelmed by all the links and other things going on that might distract them from what you want them to do - for example, subscribing to your profile!
Page Speed
The quicker that someone can get to what they want the more likely they are to take action on your page.
Sadly, this is a major problem with OnlyFans as it loads slowly everywhere and for everyone. This is due in part because of how used people have become to Slow Load Times (SLT), but there's not much you can do about them - so don't worry!
Eye Movement
The key to a successful conversion is knowing what information needs the most emphasis.
Where someone's eyes go when they read your copy, can tell you where important pieces of that content are, and how to make them more noticeable.
Word Count
The less words you have on your website, the better chance it has of converting a user. Most studies show that pages with 100 or fewer words convert more than those which are 500+ long.
Social Proof
Social media is an excellent way to get a rise out of people. It's important for small companies and individuals who can't afford the large budget that larger corporations have in order to reach their target audience.
A novel idea has been brewing over recent years, social authority or "social proof" as it may also be known as since its inception in 1960 by psychologist Robert Cialdini; this concept states that if trusted authorities say good things about you then your must be trustworthy yourself!
When you want to get a new product, would you rather hear about it from the company that is selling them or someone else?
It's not your job to be the judge and jury of every product. It would make sense that, if a trusted authority likes you, then they're judging you well enough on behalf of everyone else who trusts them too!
Value
The tone of voice you use on your website has a big impact on how well it converts.
Friendly pages that emphasize with the users, win more over than those with harsh tones, so be sure to keep this in mind as you make changes and update content!
So why am I discussing a Banner and not the Bio Image on the profile as a decisive conversion factor?
First, in almost every way, the Bio picture is so small that it plays only as a minor role of identifying someone’s vague outline. With most people using mobile devices to access their account pages with this service provider, banners really take center stage.
There are some very creative things you can do here including:
Reinforce your brand image by showing what you do and how it will be beneficial to them.
You want to make sure that you have shown any features that they might not know about you so the potential subscribers feels like they are getting more desire for you.
Entice the potential subscriber to want to see more.
People don't always read everything!
Direct the viewers eye towards your image, making the price the last thing they see, not first.
Show off how popular you are, by showing stats like: Likes and Followers!
For example you can use a photo where you are nude, which lets the users know what kind of content to expect behind the paywall.
The picture would also be in bed, giving the potential buyer the allusion of being with you.
Don't make eye contact nor showing your face again as banner format may distort your appearance. Sad to say that banners are bad at displaying anything vertical although this is what our eyes prefer most.
A clever trick is to use the ‘you are in the top 0.1% of creators’ tag over your chest that's almost too small for people to read, but their eyes will be drawn up from it because you'll establish yourself as a top creator with this picture. A perfect example of excellent formatting and engaging content!
Let them know in big capital letters what you are.
For eg., "MILF, HOTWIFE and FITWife" and your banner ad must show exactly that.
Showcase yourself in 3 different vertical poses all centered around the least amount of cloth possible to cover up the NSFW parts of your body! Establishing a brand with bold lettering - “HotJenny”- do so without taking away the attention from the pictures.
Show off all of your stats in the banner as well, with your likes, fans and pictures!
You'll hit on all 5 conversion factors and the banner picture certainly makes you want to see more.
They'll get the feeling that you have a lot of outfits to show them since you are modeling 3 different ones on your banner alone.
The title of your page is very important for the success of your account.
The Google limit is about 55 characters before they will cut off potential clickers to see more, and on your OnlyFans, you have 50 characters that people can view without clicking "More Info" first.

The Bold Statement
This is a statement meant to shock and entice your potential subscriber. Example: “Your Friendly Neighborhood Thot”
The Disarming Honesty Statement
This statement helps humanize you so potential subscribers can relate to you and your struggles.
"I'm going to try my best and post every day for you guys. Even if I have a bad case of ADHD, haha"
The Keyword Descriptor Statement
When someone searches for "Big Boobs, Big Butt, Bigger heart," you'll be there to help them out with a friendly voice.
The Dirty Words Statement
This is to go for the jugular on those people looking for someone who has no qualms about getting down and dirty
Example: "I’m the dirty **** who ***** your Dad".
The “Hey” Statement
This is a statement that's very popular and makes the person feel welcome right away on your page. "Hey! I'm Jenny, welcome to my profile"
A sentence to make it more interesting would be: "Hi there!"
It might not seem like much of an improvement at first but don't underestimate how important little things can be in improving engagement rates online as well as making someone feel welcomed by reading them.
The best way to get more subscribers is by running a "Limited Time Offer"
It appears right under your short bio description and guess what else you can do? Write tons about the behind-the-paywall content, which will now appear above the fold.
You might not be able to afford a $150 subscription and some creators feel like it is worth the extra work just for those few subscribers because they know that these fans are their best, most loyal supporters.
In order to get more of them though you have two options: create content so good than only your true followers will want behind-the-paywall access or, run periodic subscriptions specials where potential subscribers can sign up for less money with no obligation after an agreed upon period of time has lapsed.
I think this option is really important because sometimes people don't realize how much content there actually is in between what's free on OnlyFans and exclusive Behind The Paywalls.
Use it to describe all the features of your page.
This technique doubles the amount of words you can use and unlike your bio text, it's formatted to be bolded with a gray background.
It also seems less like someone is shouting at you when they type in all capital letters as opposed to what appears on your Bio page.
Do you ever wonder what the future of social media is going to be? It's hard to tell.
There was a time when reaching 50K likes on an OnlyFans profile seemed like something only celebrities could do, but now that number can almost seem commonplace and not garner much attention at all.
But luckily we've been finding ways as people in this industry, for how best to display our content numbers instead. Now it seems more important than ever before!
One thing to remember is that you have control within your settings for what you display to potential buyers.
Make sure that it's a personalized, genuine account of yourself and show off the things about yourself which will help gain more fans or subscribers!
When to List it:
Posts are something that can show a potential buyer how active you on your page and likely how engaged they can expect to be in the future. If you've been posting for awhile, it's hard not to have tons of posts so list them!
When Not to List it:
If you are just starting out on the site it can look a little sparse when all that appears is Posts: 10.
It reminds everyone, especially old users who may not notice your activity yet, that you're new for sure!
If only have a huge amount of followers but very few posts this will also show up as one of these display stats to avoid.
When to List it:
The top banner area should be used for a high amount of pictures, with more images than videos. People will expect to see an abundance of photos from your account once they sign up and subscribe!
When Not to List it:
If you are just starting out, keep your media count off of the top banner completely including pictures until you have built up enough to make it impressive.
When to List it:
Video content is more popular than pictures and videos will get a lot of attention. People like to see it in the banner area because they want potential buyers to be impressed.
When Not to List it:
If you only post videos on your age, then by all means show it off.
But if posting pictures is more of what you do and not much video, try to keep that number hidden from the world for a little while longer.
When to List it:
The people who are already following you will actually see your posts, so it's wise to make sure they're liking all of them. They'll get a notification every time you post something new and if they like what they see then chances are - that number next year could be huge!
When Not to List it:
You should only not list likes once you have enough other things to list like Fans and Media that your likes are almost meaningless.
Although there is an argument that once you have 100K likes or more, it looks impressive on its own.
So there aren't many cases where you want to leave off your Likes at all!
When to List it:
This is the trickiest of all items you can display in your banner area. The issue with free pages ends up counting followers as fans, which makes it look like a high count paid subscribers are small compared to them.
This means that if you have 1K actual paying customers then this number will not stand out against someone who has 100K fan/followers on their page, and those numbers only usually emerge on Free pages where it looks impressive by comparison.
When Not to List it:
Your Paid and VIP Fans are too valuable to risk underselling them on your main page.
That is why it’s smart not to mention the number of subscribers you have in these sections, since that will only diminish their importance. Remember, potential buyers aren't just looking at numbers like, how many Likes or Media Count posts you have (that's for later).
They want an idea of what they're going into, which means knowing who also pays attention enough about your work as a creator/brand so much that they decide hey- I can afford this!
Remember you can still buy Social Proof but keep in mind to post valuable content. A lot of it, at the same time. And remember that bought Social Proof are accounts made to make you stand out for potential subs but, they're not potential buyers.
It's only for you to show off your profile!
At this point several years into OnlyFans, there is a distinct advantage in having a large amount of media ready for your potential subscribers to view. However if someone is deciding between you and another creator the number of displayed content can be an important factor - especially when they're looking at just one page!
Depending on how much information that's available from each individual page the Posts/Media/Archive numbers will appear differently depending on where people are coming from.
One mistake being made on your page is that it provides a good amount of media but the interactions and connections are low. As someone who may subscribe, you would be hoping to see more posts in total than all the content displayed.
You also don't want to forget your archive, where your items are displayed as well for all to see. Your archive stores things, in case you need them later on, but others can view it too so be careful what you put there!
The ideal type of creator is one who's media and posts align well together, showing that they both post to their fans as well as upload a good amount of content.
We like to call the never ending sales, limited time offers and specials that OnlyFans allows creators to post on their page Price Origami.
Much like the ancient Japanese art you want to be sure you are maximizing your Price structure by utilizing Limited Time Offers in order for people just coming onto your account feel more at home with an affordable price point before they purchase anything else from you. To make it even easier I am going break down how this works:
- For instance if someone has liked one of my posts then when scrolling through other pictures or videos all of a sudden see a pop up message offering them 50% off sticker sets as part of our LTO (Limited Time Offer)
You can use Limited Time offers to send out messages on their account, but even more importantly you can utilize the space to further sell potential subs why they should be buying from you.
I love how this conversion factor uses a "how can I say no to that?" approach.
It tells people they can follow you for free now, but there's actually value in what they're getting for nothing at all!
For most Free pages, people assume the ads will be more relevant and content-specific to their interests; think Netflix or Pandora commercials on TV channels instead of your favorite show.
But when you tell them up front about the price? They'll know exactly what it costs so there are no surprises later down the line - just like with any other paid service out there!
This is another great conversion technique. As mentioned people always like to feel like they are saving something. You might have wanted to sell your page for $10, but with this new approach you can tell them that the page was worth $20/month and offer it at a lower price—$10!
This way won’t only get what you want in the end; clients will also be satisfied by feeling as though they saved money on their purchase of an expensive product or service.
And don't forget about those who didn't pay much attention when subscribing: after 31 days these types of customers would automatically re-subscribe again without paying any additional fees!
You always have something cooking in the marketing department, but don't let all of those efforts go unnoticed!
It is just as important - if not MORE IMPORTANT- than anything else you do because it will drive traffic towards your subscriber page. Your subscribers are like potential customers who come into a store with an amazing website display: they know exactly where their interests lie without being told by anyone how or what to buy.
So it's really important for people to enter your OnlyFans page at the front door and not abandon you right away.
A lot of creators don't have the opportunity to see 70% of visitors who come on their pages but never take any action - if you can just get a few people in, they'll be able to make that ball rolling towards having a successful business!
