Cloud saves will be turned on automatically for all games on your Nintendo Switch, however, they won't back up unless you play the game and save after cloud saves have been activated. You can also back these up manually.

If your trying to fix this because you moved over to a new switch and are trying to carry over your save data press on DOWNLOAD. However if you were in my situation i had the game on my switch already but was getting the error.
