If you are still facing issues with the recording conversion process, as this component is out of the scope of Zoom Marketplace(which is this forum for), please contact Zoom support at -us/articles/201362003 and one of the Zoom experts will be happy to assist you.

Following up on what @sean.cotter explained, it depends on the length of the recording that determines how long the recording will be completed.

Also, you can subscribe to our recording completed webhook[1], to automatically notify your system when your recording is completed.

The same for me. 1h webinar - the recording is still processing after 30h. I contacted the support but they closed my ticket. I also tried to register other 5 min video and the recording completed. I think depends on the duration

I am having same problem. I have a Zoom call in progress. Audio is coming in through my computer ok. But Audacity is not recording it. Mix-minus is working correctly. I can hear Zoom caller, but not getting it recorded when I hit record - my voice is only one recording.

CURRENT SETUP

mixer to recording computer

my mic into mixer channel 1.

mix-minus - mixer input channel to computer via Sabrent USB-to-3.5 input/3.5 output adapter and back to aux send to complete mix-minus

my phone (second computer) to where? another input channel?

Slightly specific question, but I'm having trouble recording a multitrack session using my Zoom H6 as an audio interface. Rather than being able to isolate each mic to its own channel, it's putting both into one. Might be more a question for the Zoom forums but thought I'd check here.

...my first guess is that you may be recording to a stereo track rather than two mono ones. What you'll need to do is record in Multitrack, create a session with at least two mono tracks (the default should come up the way) then set the inputs to the two tracks on the drop down menus (marked with the right facing arrow) at the left end of each track. I've not used a zoom this way but on the menu choose mono then find the Zoom microphone outputs...what they're called will depend on the Zoom but you should be able to figure it out.

I was having the same issue and this thread solved the problem for me. But now I'm getting a buzz in the audio output when I arm a track for recording. The buzz isn't being recorded but it comes through both the onboard speaker of the H6 and through the headphones, so SUPER annoying. Any thoughts?

If you selected Record to Cloud, after your pressed the End Meeting button, your recording will automatically will be uploaded into your DU MediaSpace and DU Canvas My Media account. You should get an email sent to your University email after 20-30 minutes.

If you selected Record to this Computer, after your pressed the End Meeting button, your recording will be saved on your computer. ZOOM recordings are saved in a folder called ZOOM within your documents folder. You can upload this mp4 file to YouTube, Vimeo or some other video sharing website.

I just wanted to ask why, if I'm using the same basic settings for everything, does the file size gets so much bigger when recording a display running a Zoom meeting. Isn't it the same display capture?

Webinar recordings can also be used as a valuable marketing tool. You can share your webinar content online and reach new people who did not attend live on Zoom. This might even help you advertise your next webinar event or a business offering!

Prior to your scheduled webinar, open your Zoom account, and navigate to settings. Here, ensure that cloud recording is fully enabled and unrestricted.

Save these settings, and consider running a test recording to make sure everything you need is in working order before your webinar is scheduled to start. Extra time for troubleshooting could save you from stress in the long run.

Step 1: Log in to your Zoom account. If you'd like recordings to store online, go to your 'Settings', check that Cloud Recording is enabled. Alternatively, choose a location to save your recordings locally on your computer.

While Zoom can be a good native recording option, it does have some limitations. If you want to produce better-quality webinar recordings, you may prefer to use an alternative software tool, like Riverside.

Your Zoom webinar recording may save to the cloud or to your device, depending on your account settings and recording preferences. Look for your recording where your settings have instructed it to save, and then save your final recording file where it is easily accessible.

You can enable the Audio transcript option in the settings of your personal Zoom account. Once enabled, transcripts are automatically generated for new cloud recordings of meetings you scheduled.

When it comes to recording meetings, things can get tricky as different video conferencing tools require you to take different steps. Different accounts within a software also have varied ground rules. To top that, who has the permission to record adds another layer of confusion.

For most creators, the purpose of recording a Zoom meeting is to share it with other people at some point. For local recordings, you can upload the files to other services, like Dropbox, Google Drive, Youtube, social media platforms, or your website. You can even use it to create a video podcast.

We recommend that you inform meeting attendees, prior to a recorded meeting, how you intend to record, use, and share video. You may also consider giving attendees options to participate without having their image or voice recorded, such as allowing them to attend with no video or audio, and the option to pose questions only in the text chat window. Because you can start and stop recordings in Zoom at any time, you can choose to include unrecorded time throughout your Zoom session, giving attendees an opportunity to discuss topics or ask questions that they do not wish to have recorded.

As a general rule, staff meetings should not be recorded absent an articulated business purpose (including as a reasonable accommodation) that requires recording of the meeting. Generally, you should not record a meeting if the same meeting would not be recorded if it occurred in person.

If you are hosting an online meeting where confidential information such as student records or health care data is being discussed, you must protect the privacy of individuals by turning off all of the recording features within Zoom.

Recording a meeting couldn't be easier. You simply click the Recording button at the bottom of your Zoom window. What happens next is a little more complicated. Zoom offers a surprising number of options on how it records meetings, where the meetings are stored and how they can be shared. So, where do Zoom recordings go? When recording a meeting, you can either record on your PC or in the Zoom cloud.

Whether you record on your computer or in the cloud is a personal choice. Recording to the cloud offers many more features since it's done on Zoom servers, which have the direct feed from all participants. Recording to your computer is an option, too, especially if you don't have space on Zoom's cloud or if your company has security policies against hosting company recordings in the cloud.

This opens the folder with your Zoom recording video files on your Windows or Mac desktop. You can change the storage location from the default to another recording folder if you wish. Of course, this step only applies if you're saving recordings to your computer and not to the cloud.

From here, you can view, download, share and delete your cloud recordings. Each of the blue links in the screenshot above is a meeting recording. Depending on your settings, each meeting could contain several files with different views and aspects of the meeting. The share options on this page offer a lot of control, while also enabling easy sharing via a simple link.

This is perhaps the most overlooked part of managing Zoom recordings. The settings are in a different place than the recordings themselves, so many people might not think to check the settings. Take a few minutes to check out the settings because they do provide several powerful and helpful options. To find the settings, follow these steps.

Once at that menu, you can scroll down for several pages of features and options for cloud recording. The screenshot below is just a sampling of what is available. As with the local recording settings, most of the features are either self-explanatory or offer a help pop-up.

As you can see from this segment of the settings menu, Zoom offers many options when recording to the cloud. You can manage what gets recorded and even how it's presented. While this may feel like power-user stuff, it is accessible to anyone recording Zoom meetings. Don't leave this for the experts. If you're recording Zoom meetings, take the time to go through these settings.

Video meeting recording and management of those recordings are important aspects of enterprise collaboration security and privacy. Organizations and their employees should follow company best practices and policies to ensure video recordings are properly managed.

In this post, we offer a step by step guide to setting up your next Zoom recording and achieving the best results possible. It's an easy process, but there are limitations to recording resolution that you should keep in mind.

Second, be sure to enable HD. In theory, checking this option would allow you to broadcast a 720p video. However, when we tried recording the video stream with this option both activated and deactivated, we saw very little difference. We still think it's a good idea to enable HD, but the video recording quality might not improve much because of it.

Unfortunately, there's no way to control important video parameters such as exposure when recording Zoom meetings using their app. Getting the right resolution can also be tricky, and we recommend you follow this chart and make tests before recording an important project.
