I am looking for a way to merge contacts with the same phone number and different emails. For context, we get many resubmissions where the person submits with the same phone number, but different email, creating two separate contacts which makes it much tougher on the salesforce side due to a duplication rule we have. I am looking for a way to merge the email to the existing contacts in Hubspot that come in with the same phone number so I don't have multiple leads that are the same person. If anyone knows of a workflow or workaround, let me know!

Hi @MaxGPT,

Were you able to resolve the issue with the Operations Hub and custom code?

We released Koalify to make data deduplication in HubSpot easy.

I ran into the same issue a couple of times wrote a quick how to:

How to merge HubSpot contacts with same (mobile) phone number.

How To Download My Contacts To My New Phone

We do have the Operations Hub, but I do not know how to custom code and I couldn't find examples of someone doing this. Also, we have a pretty large database so Insycle would be pretty expensive and we do not need all the features it provides.

I received a phone call from somebody that is in my CRM but is not saved as a contact on my mobile - when I answered I was unable to identify who I was speaking with. I would like the CRM to link to my Iphone contacts so I will know who is calling me if they are in my CRM and not in my Iphone contacts.

I think the article means the contact property 'Company Name' and not pulling from the associated company name property - the issue may be here. Can you confirm the "Company Name" contact property is filled out for your contacts?

Indeed this is not possible at this stage within HubSpot, I'd recommend upvoting this Idea in our Ideas Forum regarding this. It is currently being reviewed by the Product Team. You can also subscribe to the idea (Options > Subscribe) to get notified if the status changes.

I have the same issue and deleting/stopping icloud sync/overnight did not work for me. This is a serious issue and is impeding my business. If Apple cannot fix this I am changing phones. I painstakingly re-label all of my contacts only for 24 hours to pass and all labels revert to 'phone'. No more fax, iPhone, work, or custom labels. Ridiculous. I am so sick of this. ?

I have 3,530 business contacts who have all had their numbers changed to read "phone" only. Gone is the detail of which is their office, cell or home number. Even if I fix a Contact, it's corrupted by the time I return to it. This is a shambles and is impeding my business.

Have not turned iCloud sync back on for Contacts under iCloud settings on iPhone (or iMac or Macbook) and have also unchecked Microsoft Outlook under iCloud Drive on (all) Mac as I cannot function properly at work without knowing what numbers are what in my contacts (iPhone, fax, email, mobile, office, work, personal, etc.)

What a pathetic joke. These iPhones are f-ing junk. Nothing works, nothing saves, all my address and phone labels are changed to random arbitrary labels for no f-ing reason and I'm sick and tired of paying thousands of dollars for garbage that can't do simple basic **** without screwing it up.

I resolved this problem by going into my iPhone's iCloud settings to turn off Contacts syncing with iCloud, then I signed out of my iPhone. I logged into iCloud on my laptop and deleted all of my Contacts there. It appears to take some time to fully clear out the contact data from iCloud. I don't know how much, but I waited overnight. The next day I corrected all of the contacts on my iPhone, signed back into my iPhone with my Apple ID, then turned on Contacts syncing in iCloud settings. All of my iPhone contacts uploaded and synced correctly with iCloud, and I haven't had a problem since.

I have to same problem, which has only being occurring for a couple of months. Every so many hours/days all my contact phone, address, email labels change. (These are standard apple labels NOT custom labels)

i.e. phone numbers marked as mobile, home, work etc. all change to "telephone". addresses marked in the same way, change to "Address" and email addresses marked in the same way change to "email". They're for when I ask Siri to call someone at home, or give me directions to someones house, she can't do so as all labels have been modified to the ones mentioned above.

I should mention that I use iCloud to sync all my devices, iPhone, iPad, iPad Pro, Mac and two windows PC's using apples iCloud sync. This is a new problem and only started a couple of months ago. I modify them back and then after a few days later it happens again.

I have had this same label issue of something mysteriously changing all my contacts back to the generic defaults (Phone, Email) with no resolve. This just started occurring maybe a week or few weeks ago. I went back into my contacts and corrected my various contact's custom labels (iPhone, Mobile, Work, Home, etc.) that had somehow changed back to just "Phone" and "Email", they sync correctly across all my IOS and Mac OS devices, and then at some point in time (e.g. the next day), the labels had all reverted back again to the defaults (Phone, Email). I am only syncing contacts with one server - iCloud - and have Contact Sync turned off for all other servers (MSN, Gmail, etc). I was on the phone with Apple support who was not aware of this issue within Contacts or with iCloud and now suspects it's the MS Outlook app that's causing the issue. I have been using Apple Contacts along with MS Outlook for years without issue until now. I am curious if anyone else with this issue is also launching / running MS Outlook and indeed if this is possibly what's causing this?

To keep your contacts backed up and synced to all your devices, you can automatically save device contacts as Google contacts. Google contacts are available across Google services and can be managed on any signed-in device. If the original device is lost or damaged, the contacts can automatically sync to a new device when you sign in.

When you sign out of a phone or tablet, all your Google contacts will be removed from that device to prevent other people who use that device from accessing them. Your Google contacts will remain in your Google Account and sync to a new device when you sign in.

Tip: To use device contacts across Google services without saving them as Google contacts, turn on Save contact info from your devices. That setting includes SIM contacts and contacts syncing with other cloud services, but you can only manage them on the original device. To back up device contacts without saving them as Google contacts, learn how to back up data on your Android device.

I am running into an issue with my contacts, phone, and messages app not working after the most recent update. I have tried clearing the cache of all affected apps, clearing cache for the device, and clearing the cache + data for One UI. I have also tried reboots.

I tried it and unfortunately it didn't work. I'm taking it to Samsung repair soon. My texting app is working now and I'm able to make calls by telling google assistant the number, but the contacts app and phone app are still not working.
