I now teach you, with the power of Zoom video calls, how to cook up a Sicilian storm  wherever you may be. My classes last between two and two and a half hours long and are live streamed. This means it really does have an essence of being in my cooking classes as I can instruct and you can communicate in live time with me. Of course, I keep my eye on you the whole time and make sure you are perfecting the recipe!

I am so looking forward to sharing these moments with you and I am so grateful to all of those who have already chosen to support me on this venture! With your help, you are allowing us to keep our business going!

My starting point for the table&spoon cooking club was grounded in the idea to explore and learn together. To share my love for cooking and entertaining with others, but not necessarily a group of like-minded participants. Everyone who joined brought something quite unique and meaningful to the group- thorough recipe followers, aspiring table-setters, wonderful conversationalists, avid gardeners, world globetrotters, but only a few could be defined as enthusiastic home cooks. The common thread was a desire to connect to food, family, friends, and the fun and enjoyment of making a meal together in a comfortable and relaxed way.

After a quick email determining if this could work, the unanimous consensus was to give it a try. We would have to schedule for a weekend given heavier than ever work-family schedules during the week. I heard consistently that cooking three meals a day was becoming tedious but twas compounded by the pressures in managing online schooling and different new work structures made it all the more challenging.

The primary focus became to support one another and ease the stresses of everyday cooking. Rather than cooking alone, we started cooking together. One person leading the recipe, the others following along while chopping, boiling, roasting and tossing. At the end of an hour and 15 minute session, dinner for the family ready, done, finished.

But aside from the utility in our new objective, an unexpected outcome has resulted. We have been able to bring back a joy to cooking in a time of great uncertainty. We are connected, finding comfort, sharing while still learning, laughing and becoming more confident. The underlying mission remains in tact but takes a less significant.

The biggest difference between a cooking club and an online cooking class taught by a professional chef is the balance and appreciation of all skills in the session. When someone asks a question there are often many answers, all helpful in some way. There is more of a willingness to experiment in real time by adding more garlic, or using a different type tomato.

The steak was, to my surprise, pretty easy to cook. After seasoning the meat, our chef instructed us how to place our steak on the stove (something I did wrong the first go-around but eventually corrected.) After our steaks finished cooking, we sat down to enjoy the meal we collectively cooked and later, topped off our night by individually torching our creme brulee.

The latter is something I did not do ahead of my gnocchi cooking class last week, so I had a bit of a different experience compared to my fellow classmates. In order to save time and get to cooking right away, our downloadable prep packets instructed us to start making our potatoes for the gnocchi dough an hour before class. Since I did not read the packet until ten minutes before my class started, you can imagine my surprise when I discovered that very important step.

While my partner and I played catch-up most of our gnocchi-making class, it was still easy to follow and very enjoyable. While Zoom can be a barrier in certain aspects (the class was 20 minutes delayed due to technical difficulties), we were still able to ask our chef questions and he was able to assess whether our dough looked right (it did not) and swiftly instruct us on how to fix it. And for two people who have never made homemade pasta in their lives, my partner and I were pretty pleased with ourselves.

We've put in the work researching, reviewing and rounding up all the shirts, jackets, shoes and accessories you'll need this season, whether it's for yourself or for gifting purposes. Sign up here for weekly style inspo direct to your inbox.

I have been trying to cook minty, oregano and thyme big game, but can't get the minty and oregano choices to appear in the cooking menu. I have plenty of big game, mint and oregano, but am not being given the choice of making either of them. Is anyone else having this problem? Is cooking broken?

1. When you first pull up the Big Game meat in the crafting menu it only presents the "plain big game" recipe, unless you use your d-pad to the left or right to show you the other big game recipes for mint, thyme, and oregano.

The last few days, no matter what I try to make, everything is showing as if I have none of the ingredients or don't have enough. I am not sure what is going on. It ended up working fine this afternoon but I was on just a little bit ago and the same thing happened. I contracted R* about it but who knows when I will hear back from them.

I'm Parawan, I'm a friendly fun person with an appreciation of not just Thai food culture but am interested in learning different cooking techniques and passing on my culinary skills to my cooking apprentices. I teach my group and private classes at my home in Koh Tao as well as offer virtual cooking classes where you can learn to cook your favourite Thai dishes in private lessons in your own one on one online class.

I teach my Thai cooking classes on Koh Tao, which is the next island along from Koh Phangan in the Koh Samui archipelago. If you're on Ko Tao, I'd love it if you came to take a Thai cooking experience with me. I'll share my lifetime of experience and cooking methods with you at my home Thai Cooking School. If you aren't coming to Koh Tao then but still would like to enhance your cooking skills and make your favourite spicy dishes, then I do also offer online Thai cooking classes so you can take those from your own home.

When I first opened my Thai cooking school and started teaching people how to make their favourite Thai foods, I started off just using the kitchen in my house. This meant that I could only really teach small groups of people, usually just one or two people at a time with a maximum of four people in a class, as there really wasn't the space in my kitchen to teach cooking courses for more people than that.

So I then decided to convert the roof space of my house into a purpose-built area for my Thai cooking classes on Ko Tao. Here I can comfortably teach up to 6 people in a class, with each person having their own prep area and cooking station as you can see in the picture (click it to enlarge).

So if you would like to take a cooking lesson and learn how to make Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, Tom Yum Soup, Thai Green Curry, Massaman Curry, Panaeng Curry, Red Curry and of course how to make your own Thai curry paste from scratch or any of your favourite delicious Thai foods then book a lesson either online or in person.

All games are published using mobile and desktop friendly HTML5 web design. Links to each game open in a new tab focused on the game. For many years all of our games were all ad-free, though our site has become so popular that was no longer possible. We have added moderate advertising around the free space on the borders of some games as our hosting bill for a dedicated server is not cheap. Our site was founded in 2007 & in 2024 we began to include ads on some games to help offset the big hosting bills.

Since this page has expanded heavily we decided to leverage lazy loading of images on web browsers which support it. This means if you skip to a particular section those images will load first & then as you move around this page the associated images will load as they come into view.

These games help students differentiate healthy foods versus unhealthy foods. We also provide free food clip-art you can use in the classroom. Teachers emphasizing the importance of exercise, limiting excess body fat, and maintaining a healthy body weight can leverage our free online calculators. 152ee80cbc
