The best way to do this may be to add your entire library into a single playlist. Then you could download the playlist. Once all the songs have downloaded, remove the playlist and the music should stay downloaded as they are in albums. You can read more about this in the following links:
Classical music has a fundamentally different metadata structure from that of genres like pop, hip-hop, and country. As a result, it requires a unique approach to search, browse, library, and recommendations features. In addition, presenting the data about each album requires completely different formats. Classical listeners also have specific interests, such as composer bios and descriptions of works.

Already a classical music enthusiast and Apple Music subscriber? All the classical music in your Apple Music library will automatically appear in the Favorites tab of Apple Music Classical, ready for you to enjoy.
The most convenient method to download all songs from Apple Music to your iPhone is using a Shortcut. It helps to grab all your music songs into one single playlist, in which case, downloading this collective playlist equals to download your entire Apple Music library all at once.
Make sure that all of your devices have Sync Library turned on and signed in with the same Apple ID that you use with Apple Music. If your music library is stored on your computer, check the cloud status of songs to find missing music and resolve issues.
If you canceled your subscription to Apple Music or iTunes Match, your music library is removed on all of your devices except for the device your music library is stored on. Any music, including playlists, that you added or downloaded from the Apple Music catalog is also removed.
My sonos app is no longer shuffling my apple music library. This needs to be fixed asap. I have around 1000 songs in my library. I have had sonos for over 5 years and I have used sonos for music everyday. I use it with my Samsung galaxy s10+.
Normally it automatically shuffles the whole apple music library. Shuffle is enabled on the queue but now it only plays the one song I click on. If I want to play additional songs, I have to add it individually to my queue.
The first thing to know is the fact that in order to download music on Apple Music, you need to first add that music to your Library. You can set up Apple Music on certain devices like iPhone to automatically download new music that you add to your library.
There are different ways to set the rules for the Smart Playlist. If you want to download the entire music library, you can set the rules to "Time" -> "is greater than" -> "0:00" and any song longer than 0 seconds will be added to your Smart Playlist. There are many options for creating your Smart Playlist and it's up to you what rules you set. For example, you can also populate your playlists with songs you've added in the last 3 months. To do that, change the box for "Date Added" -> "in the last" - "3 months".
I recently discovered Spotify and though it may not have the whole catalog (so I heard) that Apple Music offers, it is certainly more friendly and I would bet that it has most of the music I listen to, so I would like to switch over there.
Thing is, I haven't found any reasonable way to migrate all my music to Spotify - I have never used playlists in iTunes nor in Apple Music, I just navigate through artists', albums' and songs' names, and I want my whole library (or whatever part of it which is available on Spotify) to move there.
In case you need help finding your iPhone or iPad files and music, you can contact our data recovery experts. SalvageData can restore your Apple Music library and recover deleted iPhone photos securely and fast.
The consolidate function is more useful if files are on different drives but it was stated that they are on an external drive so it would be easier to copy the whole folder of media and use add to library for a fresh start.
Also of note, if you hold down Option when starting Music (or iTunes), you will be presented with a dialog to select a Music library or create a new library. You may find this a more convenient than double-clicking the .musiclibrary package from the Finder.
Now to answer your question: Your actual tracks while traditionally stored in the User Music Folder can actually be anywhere you wish them to be. That location can be indicated by the Location setting in the Files section (also containing the checkboxes mentioned above) in the Music App. I recommend first resetting it first before selecting a new location for the most trouble free performance. One not well known or documented tool to do this in the Music App is to hold down the Option key when launching the App which will allow you to choose a new or existing Music Folder (containing your music tracks) on launching the Music App. Once the location of your music tracks (Media) is selected the App will either look for an existing Music Library or create a new one in a subfolder your media folder. So moving a music library to another location is a simple as moving it to where you want it to be and then using the Option key method or the Music App preferences to tell it where it is. Just make sure you on have a single music media folder accessible for each user on your machine or strange things may happen.
Knowing how to download all songs in your Apple Music library using one of these methods can save you hours and hours of mindless tapping. Downloading all of your content (song by song and album by album) could take you days. By creating a playlist that contains all of your music, you can do the job in minutes.
If you have a large library, it will take some time to download every album and playlist. So make sure you're using Wi-Fi to download all that music, and I recommend charging your iPhone during the process too. You may even want to do this overnight.
How it works: Because it's a Smart Playlist, your Apple Music playlist will automatically include every song you add in Apple Music and every song you purchase in iTunes that meet its criteria. And, because it's a playlist, you can tap the download icon at the top to download the whole thing. It doesn't matter how much music you have on the computer you use to create this playlist. This playlist will always include all the music available for download.
Am I correct to assume that at the moment I have to always click synchronize if I want Audirvana to add new music I previously added to the new Catalina Music.app? Would love if it was possible to have them in constant sync and thus needing less manual interaction to have my library be the same across both programs at all times
If I get new music for my library its always FLAC, which I convert to ALAC with XLD aswell. I drag that album into the Music.app and it syncs automatically to my iPhone and iPad via WiFi. They have 512GB and 1TB storage so I can use the lossless files directly. The whole process from starting the download of the album to it being on my devices takes around 5 minutes max.
Why do the process twice? Once you click the refresh or update icon to pull your iTunes library into engine DJ it should also make it available in engine DJ without have to do that hole import playlist again. Another words it should do the importing of the music, the playlists, and analyzation all with 1 click of the icon.
After canceling Apple Music subscription, you can still access it until the next billing day. During the time before your Apple Music membership expires, you will get notified to resubscribe to Apple Music in order to keep your music. If you are determined to leave Apple Music, there is a way to keep your music library. Just read on.
In some cases, as you know, iCloud Music Library allows you to access your entire iTunes library. If you have added your own music to iCloud Music Library, they will stay in there, but you cannot access them until you re-subscribe to Apple Music.
Apple Music does not yet have a clear strategy for displaying Spatial Audio tracks. Whilst they have some playlists and collections that get updated weekly, the only way to tell which tracks in your own library are upgraded is to play them and see. This is obviously not ideal and not a great way to showcase what is a genuine leap in musical quality and the hundreds of thousands of tracks that have been upgraded. I created this feature as I was determined to find a way to see which tracks had been updated.
To access a shared iTunes library on another device, you need to set up Home Sharing on a Mac or Windows computer first. Then you can share, import, or even stream music from up to five computers. Home Sharing will only work if the following requirements are met:
Yup, both the Apple Music subscription service and the stand-alone iTunes Match option. iCloud Music Library lets you upload or \"match\" your personal music library with the DRM-free iTunes Store catalog.

Switching from Spotify to Apple Music doesn't mean you need to lose your music library. In fact, you can use third-party services, like SongShift or TuneMyMusic, to transfer your entire music library between the two subscription services.
Neither Apple Music nor Spotify offers a built-in function to let you transfer your music library from one service to the other. However, a range of third-party apps and services exist to fill that gap. 2351a5e196
