I am looking for an equalizer app that handles the total sound on my Iphone, so not just the sound in my Music app, which I never use. I often stream via bluetooth to my speakers via my phone, but these give off a lot of low end, so I want to give the sound of this more high end. Does anyone know an app or a possibility to do this?

Thanks for your post to Apple Support Communities. We understand you are asking about the equalizer within Apple Music resetting to 0 unexpectedly. We're not sure which work around you are referring to, are your current equalizer settings saved as presets?

Boom can even connect with some other apps, such as Spotify, to play your playlists through Boom. It also handles playlists with a mixture of DRM and DRM-free music by simply not working during DRM songs.

Can't find a solid answer or anything that works so far today. I just want to use an EQ for bass boost that works for Youtube background play. Well the iPhone 11 has a built in EQ but its only for Apple music I believe so that doesn't work and I can't find an eq app that works with any music playing specifically from YouTube without downloading them as mp3 files.

After you do this, in order to get it to work, you need to airplay from something NOT apple music(spotify, google play, etc), then while that is playing, switch to apple music app and press play. It will immediately take over the homepod audio with EQ fully functional.

Now I also had the bright idea to just block the specific IPs for apple music, but when I tried this, the homepods thought they were still connected and still try to stream. Unfortunately it seems you have to completely block them from all internet access for this to work.

Note this also means your phone must stay available on wifi for music to continue. The point of homepods streaming directly from cloud is so that your phone can die or you can walk out of wifi range and they keep playing. Sadly that feature also breaks EQ. But since I need EQ more than I need homepods to work without my phone present, I'm willing to give it up.

This is possible with a shortcut. Go into shortcuts, create a shortcut. Add a step. Search for airplay. Choose select playback destination. Select a homepod or "ask every time. Click done. Go into apple music and play something so the audio is playing from your iphone. Then click your shortcut. Audio output will move to the homepod with EQ working. It will not automatically jump over to AM servers.

So yes, I guess this allows me to listen to my YouTube music library with an equalizer on iOS. However, this is very far from perfect, as of course I'd much rather be using the actual YouTube Music app. Secondly, I believe the 'High Definition' setting in Musi caps at 192kbps, whereas YouTube Music 'High' quality is supposedly 256kbps.

This has been a frustrating bug that has been around for years, in iTunes and now Music. Except now it's worse. Previously, I could just pause/resume the song and it would start working. Now I have to open the equalizer every time. To make matters worse, it's now applying something that doesn't sound like flat, but is not my equalizer preset. I saw on another old thread that Apple is not aware of this issue, but there are over 300 people on that thread saying they have the same problem. Apple Music on MacOS is a train wreck. It's also missing the < button (to go back to an artist when you're listening to an album) since the latest update but that's a whole other issue. Come on Apple, why can't you get these seemingly dead simple things right?

Amazon Music is one of the best music streaming platforms. As now Music HD service has been part of Amazon Music Unlimited, Amazon Music fans can stream over 50 million music tracks in 320kbps. For Amazon Music fans, there' s never been such a time to stream music with such listening experience. However, one thing still needs to be improved - Amazon Music equalizer.

So, what's Amazon Music equalizer for - or what's an equalizer for? I bet you've wanted to meddle with the sound for a particular album like changing the sound frequencies. This exact need can be functioned with an equalizer.

If you stream Amazon Music on a handful of devices, including Android and Windows, you are in luck because equalizing Amazon Music is actually easy - and so worth the extra effort. Besides, the built-in equalization setting in iPhone device is for Music app (Apple Music) but not for other streaming music services such as Amazon Music. What's more, even the 23 different equalizer settings for Apple Music can work, one setting isn't going to fit all the music, so you'll probably ask "Are there still methods to function as Amazon Music equalizer?"

As it's stated, for now there is still no a built-in equalizer on Amazon Music, but this doesn't mean users can't turn to other methods that can enable the same function. Limited, we still offer 2 methods to enable equalizer for Amazon Music without an extra cost.

Do any of you know a stereo graphic equalizer (EQ) app that would allow me to input different settings for left and right and work with available iphone music players like Itunes, Spotify and others? lternativelysomething that also is a good music player in itself.

To be honest, I can no longer (if ever) hear the difference between lossless and 320 kbit MP3. However I have no problems hearing the difference in resolution/details and frequency range between my headphones and my HAs. I am tempted to compare the Linx Quattro streamed from iphone music delivery to 64 or 96kbit MP3 - even with the improved hi frequency delivery of the HAs.

I have no problems hearing the difference between 96kbit and 320kbit MP3. That is why I posted this EQ question.

For the moment I listen with the HAs inside my around the ear headphones. To me it sounds better than streaming. I have not tried to combine open dome direct streaming with headphones though.

SilQ Equalizer is a sophisticated, high quality 32 band stereo equalizer supporting a great variety of audio inputs (including built-in microphone or hardware) as well as acting as an effect app through IAA and Audiobus.

You may want to ask your fitter if there is a streaming equalizer which can be customized for you in the hearing aid fitting software. I am not familiar with the ReSound fitting software, but here is a screen shot of what the equalizer looks like in the Rexton/Signia software. It defaults to a certain setting based on the type of fittings you have. Open fittings cause a big loss in bass. This screen shows the default for an open fitting, but it can be customized based on what you hear and want. Note that this is an additional correction applied in addition to your hearing loss correction, and it is only used when streaming.

By changing the equalizer for YouTube Music, you'll have the ability to customize your experience and listen to your favorite songs even more enjoyable. The equalizer is essentially a tool that can enhance the sound quality by adjusting the frequencies of the music being played. Want to equalize your YouTube Music on Android, iPhone and computer?
