After signing in with your work or school account you don't see an option to install the desktop applications on the Microsoft 365 home page, go directly to the Microsoft 365 Software page instead. Select the language and bit-version you want (PC users can choose between 32-bit and 64-bit), and then click Install. See Step 2 and 3 on the PC or Mac tabs above to help you with the rest of the install process.

Microsoft 365  or Office won't install: Your computer must be running a supported operating system to install Microsoft 365 or Office. You can find a list of which systems are supported on the system requirements page. For example, your install won't be successful if you're trying to install Microsoft 365 or Office on a computer running Windows Vista or Windows XP operating system. If your computer can't install the full desktop version of Microsoft 365 or Office, try the free Microsoft 365 apps from your browser.

If you're the Microsoft 365 admin of an Office for business plan, users in your organization can only install Microsoft 365 using the steps in this topic as long as your plan includes the desktop version of Microsoft 365, and you've assigned the user a license and given them permission to install Microsoft 365 (Manage software download settings in Microsoft 365).

@madkin12 Sorry to say I have not found the solution. Tasks assigned to me in Planner do not make it to Outlook tasks. The furthest they make it is to the separate To-Do app, which unfortunately for me is a bit of an orphan product and doesn't sync with other things like Outlook does. It also doesn't show up as a sidebar in Outlook desktop, so you need to open up another tab and it's slow to open. Certainly no at-a-glance functionality like Outlook tasks. Sorry I can't help!

I see from the Microsoft website that we can access web versions of Teams and Outlook using the Microsoft 365 Business Basic license. But can we access Teams and Outlook desktop applications using Microsoft 365 Business Basic license?

You can, the Teams client can be downloaded and used with any license that includes Teams. For the desktop version of Outlook, you will need another licensed copy, as it is not included in the M365 Business Basic license. But if you have purchased it previously, say as the perpetual Office version, you can use it with your M365 Business Basic mailbox.

I have verified my SPF records are correct however when sending outbound mail with Hubspot they are undeliverable and when sending with the outlook app they are not being tracked. 


Microsoft says that its up to me/hubspot to get the proper IP address hubspot is using to send and adding it to be removed from the spam filter. 

Hubspot says its an issue with microsoft and trial tenant ( we just started 365 - trial period then paid) that is blocking the mail - microsoft deny this and Hubspot will not provide any further information on the IP address used. I am on free tier with HubSpot, and Microsoft 365 has confirmed there are no account restrictions.
