How do i rotate a lunchbox Braced Grid 1-D structure 45 degrees so the structure looks like a diagrid structure with bracing in the middle? I need it in structure output (not a panel) so i can link it to Karamba3D.

I made it by drawing a simple polygon using polyline within rhino. Then in grasshopper I used boundary surface and baked. Then I rebuilt the surface in Rhino and lifted on of the vertices. This is not the final building but the method and workflow is the same.

I am trying to install lunchbox for grasshopper (rhino 7) on two different macs and both have the same issue. From what I understand I should just move files from zip to the Plug-ins folder but its not in the usual path - in McNeel>Rhinoceros>7.0>Licence Manager there is only a license folder and no other ones.

Having used lunchbox on both grasshopper (a lot) and dynamo (a bit) I would say it definitely feels more naturally at home in Rhino and probably began there too, so it made sense to keep it there at the very least. I believe the discontinuation roughly coincided with the advent of Rhino Inside, if not Conveyor - both which can provide the utility of Gh/Lb to Revit fairly easily.

The internal gears (spur and diff) are the same in both. On the old 80's cars, there was a slight difference with the rear axel shafts, where the hex fits onto the differential bevel gear between the lunchbox and grasshopper. Probably just a change to cut costs.

The pinions between the 2 are very different. The lunchbox has a long 10 tooth pinion, mounted using an special adapter plate. The grasshopper uses a smaller motor, with smaller adapter plate and small pinion gear push fitted to the motor. 006ab0faaa
