When you edit the slide master, all slides that are based on that master will contain those changes. However, the majority of changes that you make will most likely be to the layout masters related to the master.

Below you'll find the Powerpoint slides that accompany the 8th edition of our textbook. There are more than 800 slides, covering each chapter and subsection of the book. These slides wereextensively updated in the Spring of 2020 with content updates to match them with the 8th edition, withmany more animations throughout, a common "look and feel" throughout, and a 16:9 aspect ratio for modernprojectors.

A note on the use of these ppt slides. We're making these slides freelyavailable to all (faculty, students, readers). They're in Powerpoint form so you see the animations; and canadd, modify, and delete slides and slide content to suit your needs. They obviously represent a lot of work(over more than 20 years!) on our part. In return for use, we only ask the following:  If you use these slides (e.g., in a class) that you mention their source. After all, we'd like people to use our book!  If you post any slides on a www site, that you note that they are adapted from (or perhaps identical to) our slides, and note our copyright of this material. Thanks and enjoy!

Hi, there!

When I open HE slides with the latest version of QuPath, v0.3.1, I can only see a white image, but it is ok to open IHC slides, and v0.3.0 works well for both HE and IHC slides. Does anyone have the same problem?

My system is MAC OS 12.0.1. Thank you!

Recently redone, this area of the park is perfect for little children. Monkey Shines Island features pint-sized slides and mini tipping buckets, which are located in a shallow pool filled with plenty of activities to keep the kiddies busy. (height restrictions apply)

These are intended to determine the consistency and evenness of illumination of excitation light on a fluorescent sample. However, we cannot make any guarantees about the substances these slides are manufactured with, nor what their emission properties are. Because we do not alter or dictate the materials used in their construction, we are unable to support them in any fashion beyond making them available. They can also be obtained at the many trade shows and conferences we attend.

Initially planted only on the first floor, giant tree trunks and slides began to spread up through the second and third floors and burrowed into tunnels underneath the museum. Third Floor Treehouse spillage can be found near the spider net.

When I need to start a slide show, Slido says I must use Slido in order for their slides to work. I have two buttons to choose from - Googles And Slidos. When I choose the green slido button, I can present the slideshow from the beginning OR I can present the slideshow from the current slide. There is no option to open presenter view. When I use this green Slido option, the slideshow starts and takes up my entire screen. When I hit escape to leave the entire screen, the slideshow ends.

So it will have to be the less professional - switch between google presenter view (slides window) and the slido presenter window until it is implemented (which based on curt reply seems like no plans at this stage).

Did you know all S.R.Smith pool slides are independently tested and verified to be fully Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) compliant? Learn why this is important and how S.R.Smith doesn't let safety slide!

We are pleased to provide the Registry data graphs and charts on the ISHLT web site free of charge as PowerPoint files. These slides are produced each year and may be used by you in presentations, reports, studies, etc. The citation information is provided at the bottom of each slide. Those using these slides in publications, presentations, reports, etc. are required to include the citation information.

The latest data slides from the Special Report are below. Scroll to the bottom of the page to view prior year slides. The 2023 Special Report data slides focus on death/retransplant among primary, deceased donor transplant recipients.

Ride a sled down dips, around banked turns, under bridges, and through a tunnel while controlling speed with a hand brake. Each lap down includes a free chairlift ride on Chair 6 back to the top of the slides.

The process for printing multiple PowerPoint slides on one page of paper depends on if you have access to the file you'd like to print in the original PowerPoint format or in a different format like PDF. PowerPoint formats will have .ppt on the end of the file name. The following are the steps for printing multiple slides on one piece of paper for PowerPoint files and for PDF files.

An updated posting of slides occurs each Monday (or on Tuesday, if Monday is a holiday). Slides may be submitted at any time, but submissions received by 5pm on Wednesdays will be released the following Monday. Slides received after that time will be bundled with the next grouping. Please submit your slides in time to ensure that they will be posted in advance of your event.

If you need a custom design for a special event or service, visit hls.indiana.edu/communications/ and complete the project request form (select "other"). Lead times for custom slides are longer than for Slide submission requests. Please make your request at least 14 days before you would like the slide to run.

We plan to offer lecture slides accompanying all chapters of this book.We currently offer slides for only some chapters. If you are a course instructor and have your own lecture slides that arerelevant, feel free to contact us if you would like to have your slideslinked or mirrored from this site.

I am trying to copy slides from one presentation to another, and want the slides that I'm pasting in to take the characteristics of the destination presentation - particularly picking up the footer, fonts.

I've done this by copying the slide from the L/H navigation pane, navigating to the source presentation and pasting "Use destination theme" but the Footer is not picked-up on the pasted slides - the other objects are (boxes etc).

I've changed themes, tried all sorts but cannot get this to work.

I read your scenario as you have copied a slide from the Source slideshow and have pasted it into the Destination slideshow with Use Destination Theme. You are looking to have everything go across (the content has done so correctly) but the footer has not.

The part I am confused on is, are you looking to have the exact footer from the Source slideshow and have that come across to the Destination slide show exactly as it is? I also note that your footer sits in the Slide Master of your original source file and not in the slide/s itself thus why it hasn't copied over.

Background:  For virtually every patient with colorectal cancer (CRC), hematoxylin-eosin (HE)-stained tissue slides are available. These images contain quantitative information, which is not routinely used to objectively extract prognostic biomarkers. In the present study, we investigated whether deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs) can extract prognosticators directly from these widely available images.

Methods and findings:  We hand-delineated single-tissue regions in 86 CRC tissue slides, yielding more than 100,000 HE image patches, and used these to train a CNN by transfer learning, reaching a nine-class accuracy of >94% in an independent data set of 7,180 images from 25 CRC patients. With this tool, we performed automated tissue decomposition of representative multitissue HE images from 862 HE slides in 500 stage I-IV CRC patients in the The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) cohort, a large international multicenter collection of CRC tissue. Based on the output neuron activations in the CNN, we calculated a "deep stroma score," which was an independent prognostic factor for overall survival (OS) in a multivariable Cox proportional hazard model (hazard ratio [HR] with 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.99 [1.27-3.12], p = 0.0028), while in the same cohort, manual quantification of stromal areas and a gene expression signature of cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) were only prognostic in specific tumor stages. We validated these findings in an independent cohort of 409 stage I-IV CRC patients from the "Darmkrebs: Chancen der Verhtung durch Screening" (DACHS) study who were recruited between 2003 and 2007 in multiple institutions in Germany. Again, the score was an independent prognostic factor for OS (HR 1.63 [1.14-2.33], p = 0.008), CRC-specific OS (HR 2.29 [1.5-3.48], p = 0.0004), and relapse-free survival (RFS; HR 1.92 [1.34-2.76], p = 0.0004). A prospective validation is required before this biomarker can be implemented in clinical workflows.

Slide titles provide an outline and improve navigation making your document more accessible. Each slide should have a unique title. For slides that may be on the same topic, try something like Goals 1 of 3, Goals 2 of 3, Goals 3 of 3.

The local movie theater can be a terrific way to get the message out to a captive audience. In this kit, we have included electronic versions of eight cinema slides on Data CD1. Hard copies of the slides are not provided because most theaters receive their slides from distributors with very specific formatting requirements. The distributors will need the electronic versions of the slides to duplicate them for use in theaters. ff782bc1db
