I have a suggestion that's too big for the "suggestion" section: What about making the Mr Crayfish Furniture mod, or something like it official in minecraft? I find it annoying when building a city or whatever, that I don't have actual furniture pieces and what not. This is not a major problem, but you'd think that we'd have furniture in an official update by now. Just a suggestion!

Also, the whole crafting recipe thing in survival would be difficult; but I was thinking creative mode. It would be nice to have a separate tab for furniture, with a lot of the stuff from the MCFM. So if you play mostly or only survival mode, then this isn't really the thread you want.

And finally: I'm not super serious and intent on bringing furniture into minecraft. The main reason I would appreciate having furniture official, is the fact that the MCFM has only been updated to 1.8.8. (Maybe 1.9, I forget) I don't know but I think that maybe it is difficult to update a mod. Not really sure. I would use it constantly IF it was updated to the current version of Minecraft (1.10.2)

i personally would prefer it without furniture, i like and enjoy the creativity of having to think up how to combine things to create something, also you would have to make tons of variations furniture to be able to match most of the building blocks, and also there this program called mr garretos armor stand generator that allows you to sreate custom command creation type items, which you could use to make your own furniture, heres the link to the video.

I was looking forward to sampling the 400 beautifully crafted pieces of furniture. I had no idea I would end up driving around in a sports car, selling ice cream, battling angry moles in a goldmine, and generally living my best life in a vibrant town full of landmarks and friendly citizens.

I start opening all of the boxes the next morning. Each one contains a bespoke piece of furniture that I arrange into kitchen and bedroom collections. Ingeniously, Minimal Furniture gives you four commands in your taskbar that you can use to tweak the position of every piece of furniture. This lets you shuffle cabinets into position, rotate items, and quickly remove them if you want to redesign a room.

has anyone had experiences with these? If i purchase a furniture add-on in the store , is it gonna be locked to the map it comes with? is it possible to extensively edit the world for my own builds , or copying it? and will others who don't own the add-on be able to play on it? sorry for the many questions but it isn't really made clear in-game .

Pretty much I'm okay with designing the outside of my house. But I'm terrible at making furniture. I can make simple tables and what not but I'm looking to widen my creative field by adding new stuff.

This article describes different pieces of furniture you can construct in Minecraft. Note that the majority of these are just for decoration, with the exception of beds and bookshelf blocks (bookshelves enhance enchanting tables in the vicinity). This tutorial is merely decorative and will enhance the look of your house. You can make it more functional. For example, a fridge could hold food in a way so the block holding the food is accessible. Or, a fireplace can be used as an item incinerator. Try coming up with ways to incorporate uses into furniture.

The most essential piece to a bedroom is the bed. Once you've placed a bed, you can start decorating your bedroom with furniture. Dressers, desks, and bookshelves are the basic furniture you can put in your bedroom.

Place an iron block, a painting on the side, and a "keyboard" in front of it. Some people use a powered minecart rail, mostly because it looks like there's buttons on it in the original resource pack. Best use with a desk. Some people put an item frame with an apple on the back to brand it as an Apple iMac! You can use 321 logs and put the "computer" in the middle. Alternatively, there are several mods that can provide you with computers. A good example is ComputerCraft or the Mr. Crayfish's furniture mod.

Try using Redstone to "deploy" furniture. You can even try to make a barren room with everything hidden, with a lever that reveals or creates furniture. This may sound weird, however, it has a cool effect when you actually use it. To do this, you use pistons along the walls, and pull them back with the flick of a lever to reveal your furniture!

This mod adds more than eighty different pieces of furniture to Minecraft, and quite a few of them are functional. These furniture items can be used anywhere inside a house, such as a kitchen, bathroom, and living room.

However, if players install the mod and do not find all the furniture items listed on the official site, that could be because the latest version (7.0) is currently under development. Hence, it does not contain all items.

Step 4: Download MrCrayfish's Furniture mod from here and move it to the mods folder present in the application data folder of Minecraft. Players can access it by pressing WIN + R and typing "%appdata%/.minecraft".

This Minecraft map has an impressive 350 different options to decorate your house with, and you can even change the colors on some of them too. It is one of the most popular furniture maps on the store, and has an impressive 54,000 reviews with an average star rating of just under 4.

The Deluxue series from Blockception certainly must have been popular to warrant two versions of this map! There are 500 models in this map to let your imagination run wild! It also includes some rather swanky looking sports cars too. It has been reviewed over 8,000 times and has a 4.1 star average from fellow furniture lovers.

The key to making furniture in Minecraft is creativity. When creating pieces for your home, office, or bat cave, a clever use of items will go far. As you'll see, the process is actually really simple and fun. For the most part we're going to make objects that look like furniture, which means that you can pretty well make endless variations to your designs. The items most commonly used to make Minecraft furniture include:

Making furniture is all about using your imagination and making something look believable. If it's believable to you, chances are other people will know what it is. Take your time and try clever tricks. The fish tank is a great example of thinking outside the box, and making clever use of block types. This, after all, is the key to making furniture: using blocks in a way they were never intended. 17dc91bb1f
