As previously reported (news, February 2016), the Chief Executive of Easyjet, Carolyn McCall DBE, has said that the programme is invitation-only, with the minimum threshold for being invited to join being 20 return flights per year with the airline. Even if a flyer reaches that threshold, it may be limited due to the numbers satisfying that criteria (for more details, click here).

In addition to savings on flights, you also get perks like up to 50% off deals from travel-related partners including Babbel, Acanela Expeditions and Huckberry. EAA has long believed that flying clubs are a great way to make aviation more accessible and affordable. Throughout the years, many members have approached EAA asking for information about establishing a flying club. To help and provide guidance, EAA has developed this Flying Club Resource Center to address the unique requirements of EAA members.

Flying clubs are a great way for pilots to get more affordable flight time, but they also provide a window into aviation for the surrounding communities. Hands-on experiences around the hangar and flight training opportunities are all benefits.

Pilotwings[a] is an amateur flight simulator video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was originally released in Japan in December 1990, shortly after the launch of the Super Famicom in the country. It was also released as a launch title for the SNES in August 1991 in North America, with a European release following in 1992.

In Pilotwings, the player attempts to earn pilot licenses through lessons in light plane flight, hang gliding, skydiving, and the use of a rocket belt. Bonus stages and levels involving an attack helicopter are also available. Each event offers unique controls and gameplay mechanics. To increase the realism of the game's flight simulation, the developers extensively utilized the SNES's Mode 7 capability, which mimics 3D graphics by rotating and scaling flat objects.

A flight simulator game resembling Pilotwings called Dragonfly was shown during the official unveiling of the SNES to the Japanese press on November 21, 1988.[18][19] The game was used to demonstrate the system's Mode 7 graphics system, which allows rotation, scaling, and other effects to be used on flat images to create a 3D effect.[20] Because the game does not use the coprocessor chip Super FX, the true Super NES 3D technology, the buildings, runway, trees, and so on are all "painted" flat on the ground plane, and they appear to stick out of the ground when the player's viewpoint is far above.[21][22]

Pilotwings was positively received during both its initial release and in retrospective reviews. The game drew praise for its presentation, with publications describing the game's use of Mode 7 graphics as "stunning" and "jaw-dropping".[26][30] Pilotwings was generally seen as a showpiece title for the Super NES, demonstrating its Mode 7 features, built-in sprite scaling, and high-end sound chip in a conspicuous manner.[35] Its level of challenge was also positively noted; Mean Machines found that practicing the flight tests and reaching the end of the game was very rewarding.[30] Official Nintendo Magazine remarked in 2009, "This early SNES title is still enjoyable enough to be considered a true classic."[20]

This is a free, in-depth instructional program for the flight simulator using Laminar Research's X-Plane 11 Professional flight simulator software. The minimum age for lessons is 10 as it requires focus and concentration. It is designed to give students a good understanding of how to fly an airplane in a simulator. We go over the basics of flight, maneuvers, and basic visual navigation. A student is given a solo test when the instructor feels he/she is ready. This is structured through a six-lesson video and hands on training system. Students are required to watch the training video related to their upcoming lesson prior to arriving at the simulator. The scheduled lesson will then give the student full hands-on experience covering the topics of that lesson.

The flight simulator program at the Robert Morgade Library is an educational experience, particularly in the STEAM areas, but it is for entertainment purposes only. This is NOT an FAA sanctioned course or simulator. You must attend a registered flight school for flight training. What you learn at our flight simulator may make real flight lessons easier to understand, but none of what you learn here may be applied toward a real pilot's certificate. If a flight school instructor teaches you something that contradicts what you may learn here, listen to your flight school instructor.

The Flight Club consists of a group of simulator pilots who want to take this experience to a higher level. We do this by holding meetings, finding guest speakers, creating challenges, and sharing experiences. Flight Club members are eager to share their passion for aviation and will help you learn to fly. Flight Club is open to all, not just flight simulator students. Visit the FLIGHT CLUB tab above to learn more and to join Flight Club.

The Flight Simulator at the Robert Morgade Library may be reserved for up to 3-hours per day to practice or enjoy a flight. The following schedule represents the days and times it is available to reserve:

If you have no flight simulator experience it is strongly recommended you sign up for our free flight simulator lessons. Select the Register tab to the left to sign up.

Easy-to-operate touchscreens (like those at a bowling alley) quickly introduce the games, register players' names and guide the action. Automatic scoring eliminates the hassle of keeping track of points (something that's ruined many rounds of miniature golf). Four cameras at each oche record what often becomes a spirited competition among friends, family or colleagues; one camera is trained on the players while the other three precisely capture each dart's flight and landing.

The core content of the courses is finding a stable basic flight position, turns, moving up, down and sideways, as well as going into and out of the tunnel independently (videos 1-9 of the attached playlist)

Tunnel flying course as a private course is the fastest and most efficient way to start a new fun hobby! In Fni's pro course you fly the required 15 minutes for your flight license during the same flight session.
