Based on Franck's answer, I've created a tool to parse XML files of adobe connect downloaded zip file and output a single .mkv video file. It uses ffmpeg to create the video file and merge screen share and camera of presenter. It actually adds voice of viewers when they/presenter opens their microphones.

I made an application to use the original recorder in adobe connect, then all Admin, non-Admin and Guest users can use recording mode.

ForAdobe Connect to track scores in quizzes and data, content mustbe AICC-compliant. To upload AICC content into the Content library, store the files in a ZIP archive and upload it from Adobe ConnectCentral. Do not upload the content from a meeting room.

PDF Portfolios and PDFfiles that are password protected cannot be converted into SWF files, preventing them from being shared in Connect. In addition, certainPDF features are not supported when sharing PDFs in Connect. Insome cases objects within the PDF are either dropped, or only asimple image preview is displayed.

Many thanks for your reply - I should be getting the trial for adobe presenter tomorrow morning. In your third sentence, do you mean you'll have to publish ppt(x) files to presenter? And then upload the presenter file to connect? Hopefully this will become clear when I use the application.

Thanks again for the reply. I've spent a couple of hours in the adobe presenter ribbon within powerpoint now, and I have tried publishing the file and packaging it. Neither are recognised by adobe connect. When I publish the ppt it just creates a data and metadata folder, and there are no accessible files to put into adobe connect when I try to share it. When I click the ppt file, it tries to upload but just freezes after a while. I have also tried the same process with a smaller file (2MB) with the same result.

Hi Sameer- I'm going to complicate things- what about using a adobe connect meeting room, to share a power point, with a video, on an ipad? Any suggestions? I can get the video to play fine in the adobe room on a pc but have had no luck on the ipad.

This issue must have been solved before but I could not find it. Here's my issue that I have been struggling for weeks. I have been using Storyline for the past 5 years on CSOD LMS and it works fine. But when I moved to a new job, I am trying to upload SCORM files created from Storyline 3 to Adobe Connect as an e-learning module (not as an event).

Here's my two cents worth... I have tried to merge the files from the downloaded AdobeConnect files with several video editor, including the ones mentioned here, but the results are very difficult to work with. However, I have used Windows Media Player Classic to play both files at the same time, and it work perfectly. I do not have to spend time merging the files and I have complete control over pause and play ops.

Hey all,

I have created a java tool for that very perpous. We can automatically save any number off meeting to any location in mp4 or other format. We just need to pass adobe connect username to our tool.

I recently got the dreaded warning about Photoshop and Illustrator not being genuine/10 day expiration countdown. I tried the hosts file fix mentioned here, but that didn't seem to do anything. I then tried using LuLu to block connections from Ps/Ai, which stopped the popup but led to crashing and freezing. Finally, I used Wireshark to inspect the network traffic, which showed connections to a bunch of new addresses. Added those to the hosts file and it seems to have solved the problem for me (at least for now).

All Connect users should take steps to preserve content that they wish to keep, including meeting recordings, published Adobe Presenter files, and uploaded materials. For more information on the transition from Connect to Zoom, see About the Adobe Connect Retirement at ff782bc1db
