Title. I brought up the banned episodes of Sunny a few months back. Tropic Thunder is a movie where Robert Downey Jr portrays a white character in black face paint for 90 minutes. This is exactly the same joke as in the Lethal Weapon episodes of Sunny. Why is it okay for Robert Downey Jr, but not Rob McElhenney? These are satirical works of art. Can the executives at Hulu apply some consistency here? Bring back the banned episodes of Sunny. Or, if you want to be spineless, remove Tropic Thunder. I can't stand the inconsistency.

If you are a sentient being that is alive and can think for itself, then you're a Katheryn Hahn fan. In her new series, an adaptation of Cheryl Strayed's 2012 collection of essays from her advice column, Hahn stars as a writer whose life is in flux as she looks back on her younger years to remember the person she wanted to be. The series takes place in two timelines: one as an adult, and another when she was a teenager. It's got all the hallmarks of a tearjerker, so keep a hanky handy. All eight episodes will be available on the premiere date. -Tim Surette [Trailer]

For Futurama, whose 20 new episodes are expected to run in two batches, this marks the third revival. It is also the third beloved Fox animated series to find a new life, following Family Guy, which was revived by the network after strong DVD sales, and American Dad!, which has become a staple on TBS.

Devotees of Hulu's free on-demand videos will be able to find them by visiting the new Yahoo View site from a computer. The Yahoo site will not have free episodes of CW shows such as "Arrow" and "The Flash," as Hulu has been offering, because CW has a broader deal with Netflix instead. Yahoo says it will have the past five episodes of ABC, NBC and Fox shows available. The Fox shows will appear eight days after their TV airing, as is the practice at Hulu.com now. Yahoo will also have some older CBS shows.

The episodes on Yahoo are not currently available on a phone, although Yahoo is working on a mobile web version and an app. Yahoo says the mobile version will be free, but it may not have all the same video as the desktop computer site because of content licensing restrictions.

Yahoo also has broader ambitions for View. It wants to add video from other Yahoo properties and from other networks and studios. However, its previous attempt at an online video hub, Yahoo Screen, shut down in January, despite having new episodes of the cult comedy "Community" after its cancellation by NBC.

Verizon, which is buying Yahoo to help the phone company grow a digital advertising business , makes TV episodes and short videos available on its go90 mobile app. Phil Lynch, the head of media and content partnerships at Yahoo, says that as the deal gets closer to closing early next year, it "makes sense that we have integration discussions."

Solar Opposites only debuted on the streaming service on May 8 this year and was initially given a two-season order on the strength of the premise. This week, Hulu announced it's renewed for season 3, consisting of 12 episodes. The renewal comes in the wake of the news that its premiere was the most-watched original Hulu comedy show ever, and it has already been compared favorably to Rick and Morty. Along with the announcement, Hulu also released a short video promoting the two upcoming seasons. You can see it below. ff782bc1db
