The company urges users who are storing photos on the platform not to delete them, however. I might also use this on my desktop as I also have Onedrive storage that came with the Office 365 subscription. I still have a year or more left on the subscriptions that came free with my tablet purchase. Right now with odrive, I have two complete archives of my photos on my second internal disk. I have deleted odrive from my computer as I found it essentially useless unless you paid the fee - why I would pay as much for a utility to transfer and sync files as you do for Adobe CC (actually you can get CC for less than this 'service').
