I just started with a GoPro MAX and I wonder how can preview the entire picture in whatever projection type. At present Shotcut seems to show only the picture looking out from the front of the camera, progressing just beyond 90 deg yaw to either side (I can see the stitches). So, there seems to be just a bit of picture available from the other lens. However, that other side is only marginally covered. I cannot see anything looking directly out of the back lense. Can I do that in Shotcut and how? The GoProp (Andriod) app does allow to completely pan around the same recording, so it should be available in the file.

As an FYI, when I first plugged the GoPro into the Windoze computer it spit out some messages about having to get special drivers for the GoPro. Once it had done that

the files would transfer from the camera to the Windoze computer.

I'm trying to import 2.7K videos from my GoPro to iMovie. I have done this in the past with very little problem. I connect the GoPro, it says it's USB Connected, I click the import button in iMovie, direct it to what Event I want it imported to and away we go. For some reason now, I follow all of the steps I just listed, except when I go to import I see the GoPro listed as an import option, but I just see a spinning wheel like I'm waiting for the movie thumbnails to populate. I do have a lot of files on the GoPro that I'm looking to download. I even left it connected overnight just in case. Nothing still this morning. I'm trying to import videos from my daughter's volleyball tournament over the weekend. She's being recruited, so having current videos is very important to us all. iMovie doesn't support 2.7K as an export option. So, possibly that's the problem. Aside from that, make sure that you have sufficient space on your drive to receive the import, and for iMovie to operate efficiently. Make sure that you are recording in a compatible format.

Thanks for the link to the monitor Pierre but its not the monitor I am having the problem with. Its the second and third feed from GoPro cameras in HD to the monitor. Unless I am not following what you are trying to tell me?

What sort of HDMI signal/camera are you using in the system with the Homeplug? We use HDMI over IP extenders, but using GoPro cameras and the Homeplug board does not work, even on short runs. Given that the Homeplug is theoretically limited to 80 mbps, I assumed the datarate from the GoPro is too high (GoPro specs suggest bit rate is 78mbps), but maybe I need to try the ones in your link.

The GoPro 8 Media Mod case wraps around the camera, you slide it in and it it locks with a side door. There is a built in microphone which I've never really used. It also has a jack for an external mic with no adapter required, you just plug your microphone right into the available jack. The GoPro 8 camera does have mounting "feet" which fold out from the bottom of the camera and these extend through the bottom of the media mod case for easy mounting of the whole setup. While the Media Mod case is a bit bulky, it still smaller than the Ulanzi setup with the GoPro 7.

While the GoPro 8 with the media mod case is a much cleaner setup it falls short in several areas. The most annoying thing is I find the camera buttons which are now on the Media Mod Case hard to feel with a gloved hand. They are not raised enough to detect easily. Another weakness is the Media Mod Case is not waterproof. While I've had no issues so far in a few light rains, I've not used it in a downpour or on a long wet day. The other annoyance is you can't just slide the camera in and out to change the batteries as the camera mounting feet extend through the case.
