i have written in excel a medical handbook for students. (windows 11, office 2019) i want to create internal links that enable students to jump between the linked prescriptions. (see screenshots below). this is no problem. but when i convert the excel workbook to pdf, the internal links do not work anymore. is there a solution? thanks for your help!

My problem is, that I have my data in an excel file. My perhaps (silly) simple question is, how can I read an xls-file (xls-reader node) and convert it to a table format, which can be read then from the Network learner.

From now only excel will come in without table but the first step on the condition will now take care of it and will convert it to a table which then will have the same column headers as I have joined here.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to use the "simulate arbitriry signal" function to simulate a ground motion. When I define signal here, it can only read lvm format file. I wondered if there's anyway I can convert an excel file or txt file into lvm format so that I can use this function?

I was trying to generate the signal from the data but failed. So I went back to trying to use the simulate arbitrary signal function. I wrote a vi that's suppose to convert the excel file to a lvm file. And attached is the generated lvm file that seems wrong. Can you help me to look at the read_signal vi? Thanks a lot.

What I would expect is to either have a possibility to create or use an existing function, which converts an Excel-Datetime into a readable form. After all, both products (Excel and PowerApps) are Microsoft products.

So you are trying to take a TDMS, export to XLSX, then edit, then convert back to TDMS? You can use the Report Generation Toolkit to read Excel files, then use the TDMS Writing functions on the palette to create it from the read data.

I created a workflow and macro to convert XLSX files to PDF; the process convert all the sheets in the Excel files to PDFs, the output is by each sheet's print area (unfortunatelly) the VBS script could be customised to activate whatever sheet in the Excel file being process (no implemented) the conversion from Excel to PDF takes around 30 seconds, this could depend on the size of the Excel file involved, and you can as many Excel files to the Text Input tool; I did not try entering full path file locations, and still you should take into account reaching those files if the workflow is published to the server.

This workflow works fine on your workstation, but it will have difficutlies if deployed to the Alteryx Server because we hardcoded the Excel files it process, the workflow may need to be converted to an Analytic Application.

Changed the variable type to System.Double. Now it works, but I dont know why, and I had to make a new sequence with a new variable. First I tried to change the existing variable to type System.Double, but then I got error " StringConverter cannot convert from System.Double". But after I made a new sequence it works. Confusing

I have an existing "initiative" (i.e. initiative-123). I need to convert an excel sheet (over 500 rows) into this initiative (not sure if I want child issues or subtasks), I am no jira expert.

how do I convert all these excel records and upload them under my initative-123? I came across this link Import data from a CSV file | Atlassian Support but does it apply to uploading to an initiative or does it not matter?

Import all the issues (I'm pretty sure they need to be Epics, but not sure since I don't know how you have your Issue hierarchy set up). When you are preparing your csv (excel) file, make sure you add a label so that you can quickly look up your 500 issues after you import them. Once they are all imported, search for your label and it should return your 500 issues. From there, go to bulk edit and edit the issues. You are going to want to add a parent link to the issues which will be the key for your initiative.

The Excel CONVERT function converts a number in one measurement system to another. For example, you can use CONVERT to convert feet into meters, pounds into kilograms, Fahrenheit to Celsius, gallons into liters, and for many other unit conversions.

Has anybody here converted an Excel table to a high resolution image to make this possible? I know I can do a print screen or screenshot to convert the table to an image, but it needs to be high resolution for that size of a poster.

There is an excellent script on GitHub that helps to convert a full Excel sheet to JSON format using PowerShell. The script expects the table to be at the start of the sheet; that is, to have the first header in the A1 cell.

Currently, I wrote an Excel-VBA script with replacing a few keywords and then creating the CSV for each excel tab. However, when this CSV gets generated , Excel appends double quote (") at the beginning and end of each row cell. Therefore, I need to open all CSVs in Notepad++ and remove the double quote (") manually. After that, I upload all the data in Splunk enterprise.

I believe, there are multiple workarounds for this issue.

I am just looking for certain pointers if:

1. Is there any already available app for one-click excel to CSV convert and upload to Splunk (with some customization). I just found but I am not sure about the customization

2. Could you please recommend any scripting tool, which can help me with this.

Let me check with FIELD_QUOTE=" in Splunk. I tried to upload the CSV without removing the Double Quotes and it resulted in a single field. After that, I need to extract all the fields again separately in Splunk. As I wrote that the excel contains all kind of data (including some cells with Double Quotes as well comma and the German characters ,,  etc, I need to correct the data beforehand. In Excel VBA, there is a replace command to do it.

I formatted font color in excel file, but when convert to PDF the font color all goes BLACK only.

I've tried converting excel file to pdf via save as, print and export to pdf, but same result for all method, font are black color only.

Another point I can observed is it's not happen with EN font, if all are type in EN, the font color converted are fine, but not with Thai font

I'm also ask my colleague do convert and it came out alright, correct color formatted font.

I then tried to do Online Repair for Excel 365 but cannot done, then I saw I also have Excel 2010 and I can repair that version. On that day my pdf color convert still on/off correct and my default excel version in notebook have been changed to 2010. (still on my way to change back to Excel 365 as default)

Dear @Emily Hua-MSFT

Again, today i ask company IT-support to make Excel 365 as default program to open Excel files, he done the repair for Excel365 (have to run as admin. which i don't have authorized)

when i test convert excel tp PDF again, cannot do it correctly. What a trouble!

About Manage COM Add-ins, there is one box that I cannot cleared, it's somewhat enable by the system administration. Then I move XLSTART folder to desktop and convert excel to PDF again, turned out the color is still not correct.

Using win 10, Upgraded office 2010, to office 365.. lost the ability to convert an excel to pdf. In adobe acrobat std, there is the "convert to" preference listing and excel is not in there, see attached. I attached a second pic and that show right clicking an excel fiIe should give you the combine or convert option. checked another pc and the ms excel is in the preference list. I had also updated adobe to acrobat DC 2015 (the latest release) and didn't fix it. Microsoft is not really sure what the issue could be, so I thought I would see if anyone else had this issue.

As you can see it is all formatted with excel sheet, and I know I have to convert excel to biom format. Can you help me how to create biom format? I have tried biom convert from other forum questions, but it did not work because I am not sure 1) where to place my data and 2) how to convert this.

Based on my understanding, I think I have to place this file to the directory that is connected to qiime2, not in my local computer file. But I don't know how to locate my directory and how to place my file in that directory, then how to convert it to biom format.

I'm not a mod on the forum, but I'm not aware of a way to go directly from Excel to Biom format. If you save your file as a tab delimited file (as simple as File -> save as -> Choose "tab delimited .txt" in the file type) you should be able to run the biom convert command you attempted in your screenshot.

Hi Guys

I use a BOT to send an email and also to populate an Excel template which gets emailed out to a recipient, it works seamlessly. Is it possible to convert the output populated Excel file to a PDF before it is emailed?

If so what would be the process? e24fc04721
