A school district board can choose to centralize polling places across the district into one or several locations. This is only true during standalone school district elections (meaning it doesn't coincide with any other state or local elections).

When I right-click on a field within the attribute table and select 'Statistics', a chart and statistical properties appear. I wish a small, simple window would come up with statistical information instead of a full separate entity - as was the case in ArcMap - but that is neither here nor there! Right now, the various statistics (sum, max, mean, etc) only show 1 decimal place. The numeric properties for the field itself are set to show 6 decimal places and I don't see where I can change this property for the chart results. I'd like for more than 1 decimal place to be present. Does anyone know how to change this??

@DanPatterson - I noticed that as well. The number format can be changed for the chart like your screenshot shows. What's weird is that I've come across other screenshots of the 'Data' view which show more than 1 decimal place so it has to be doable somehow. I'm not sure how just showing the tenths place is deemed sufficient.

Not a solution but a workaround: If you right-click the value and copy it you can then paste it into a text file, email, etc. and it retains all of the decimal places. So it is just a short-sighted decision during development regarding how many decimals to display with no way for us to modify it. I wish they would at least honor the unit format settings one can set in the Options for Pro.

I completely agree. I use the statistics frequently for QC purposes and I need more decimal places. I don't want to have to generate a new summary table just to get the sum of a column. And most of the time, the charts are unnecessary clutter for me. I wish there were two options in the right-click menu, one for simple statistics and one for statistics and charts. And I wish we could specifiy how many decimal places we want to see.

It turns out that this other employee (I won't name but he was great as well, seriously!) was the person that argued for changing it to one decimal place (who could have predicted that?). His reasons were sound, though shortsighted (my opinion).

Thank you for advocating this issue on our behalf! It's great that you were able to have a detailed discussion about such a minor feature. I really don't know how it could 'hurt' to have the option for multiple decimal places so hopefully it can be reverted back as you mentioned. I'm sure careful thought goes into most changes ESRI makes but I agree that this one was probably short sighted. Thanks!

I was recently learning how to use random.shuffle in Python and I was surprised to see that the function shuffles the variable in place without returning anything. How is this acheived in the function? Looking at the random library's source code yielded no answer.

Same happens with :topright and :topleft. The legend is placed too far away from the top border overlapping many times the data in the plot. Moving the legend up for the top ones and down for the bottom ones will be helpful.

When I model the in-place model I was use the "Structural" workset. After finish the model and go review it, I found several connections need to be change. But when I changed it I'm under "workset1" workset. After I modeling the in-place model I found the mistakes but revit didnt allow me to change the connections workset. Anyone know how to change it? all the workset is owned by me and no borrowers.

But for the in-place model no matter which workset you change the part inside of the model didn't change with the whole model. When you turn off the workset the part at, and edit the in-place model the part won't show. So I want to find a way that I can change the inside parts to the workset the whole model are. But once you go into the edit window you can not change any of the workset the option turn gray as showed in the picture. Do u know how to change that?

I only find a way to do that is you can set to the workset you want to change and delet the part not in that workset and redraw it. I don't know if it because the workset1 is created by the system that you cann't change. If in other workset which is created by owner you can just delet it and put everything into the workset you want.

Same problem here. Can't change workset of an edit-in-place once you have created it. Doesn't make any sense, and means you have to remodel the object from scratch in right workset. Well done revit, again. (slow hand clap).

Unfortunately, this is a shortcoming of Revit. The fault however is not with Worksets, but with Categories. Because Revit does not allow Subcategories to be used as Family Types, many have gotten out of the habit of using them appropriately (to indicate different component types within a family/project). Worksets have replaced them in handling this, but that isn't right either. Worksets are meant to delineate areas of responsibility (i.e. different disciplines, offices or individual designers within a project). So it is natural that a single Workset would govern a single object to preclude design conflicts.

TL;DR: Don't use Worksets for different item types, use Subcategories. Ever in-place model has a category, and every component of that model can have a subcategory assigned to it, which can be changed at any time.

It is more economical to change inclination when you are higher up. It is even sometimes worth spending fuel to raise your apoapsis, change your inclination, and lower your apoapsis again. This also means that the best place to do your burn is the moment when you enter the planet's SOI.

However, you also want to do the burn at the point where you want your new inclination to be. For example, if you want an equatorial orbit, you need to do you plane change at the point where your current orbit crosses the equator.

The Geographic Change Notes provide an online resource for selected geographic changes to incorporated places, census designated places, county subdivisions, counties and equivalent areas, and American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian areas as recognized by the U.S. Census Bureau, within the 50 States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Island Areas (American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands). Note that most of the census designated places (CDPs) newly defined for the 2010 Census and changes affecting the 2010 CDPs are not included in the change notes. Use the Geographic Relationship File - 2010 to 2000 Places to determine changes affecting 2010 CDPs.

Change records (except for American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian areas) are listed in alphabetical sequence by entity name within each state. Each entity has a unique code combination. In addition to the state and entity codes, the record for each entity contains several related items of information for that entity and the change affecting it.

The independent cities of Baltimore, Maryland; St. Louis, Missouri; Carson City, Nevada; and the 39 independent cities in Virginia are independent of any county and, thus, constitute primary divisions of their states. As such, independent cities are treated as county equivalents. Codes for the independent cities are assigned alphabetically beginning at 500. Data shown for the independent city at the place and county subdivision level are identical to the data for its county equivalent.

In some states, places are independent (an independent place) of any surrounding county subdivision and each county-part is treated as a separate county subdivision. This is true for all incorporated places in the District of Columbia, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Wisconsin and some incorporated places in 14 additional states. In these cases, the name and codes for the county subdivision match that for the incorporated place. For example, Chicago city, Illinois, is independent of any surrounding township and is shown as two county subdivisions named Chicago city with the same codes in Cook and DuPage counties. 2351a5e196
