British Passport First Time Application
When submitting your first application to get a British passport you are taking the first steps towards establishing your official identity and gaining the freedom to travel abroad as a citizen of the United Kingdom. The process needs an applicant to submit evidence of identity, nationality and their eligibility by means of important documents e.g. birth certificate, evidence of residence and supporting identification. When a person is applying for a passport the first time, passport is evidence of citizenship and is a primary identification document, used in the UK and abroad. In the case of children it creates their entitlement to British nationality as well as freedom of movement around the world.
The initial application procedure encompasses the submission of the original application form, supply of recent acceptable passport pictures and, in other instances, an interview so as to confirm identity. The applicants would be required to pay the related government fee, as well. Processing times may take a while and as such, it is good to apply as early as possible ahead of planned travel. A British passport not only indicates that one is in a position to travel freely, but also a Passport that has legal status and entitles the holder to appropriate security and the possibility to avail consular services when outside the country.

Her Majesty’s Passport Office consider a Passport that has been expired for more than 10 years to have lapsed. Lapsed Passports are treated the same as 1st time applications by HM Passport Office and this is why the category will be addressed here as well.

We assist in sourcing the required documents as well as lodging the application on our client’s behalf.
We have an extensive network to facilitate in procuring the required certificates from the UK registry Office, Home Affairs as well as Zimbabwe and Zambia.
In order to enable us to apply for your British Passport, we will need you to send us a digital picture of yourself, you can have someone take the picture with a cell phone and email it through or you can have one taken at a Kodak or similar store and request a digital version.
We will need you to complete section 2,3 and 4 of the 0S form. Should you have a certificate of Naturalisation or Registration as a Citizen you will need to complete section 5 of the form as well. Please note that the form is purely for our office use.
Assistance with existing applications for Unabridged Death Certificates:
Should you have already submitted an application at home affairs, we are able to have this application processed and authorisation to print the certificate sent to the branch of application where you will be able to collect your certificate when ready.
Please contact the place of Burial or Cremation and request the Notice of Death as we will need this document to assist us in this process.
NB The certificate will be ready at the initial branch of application should you have made more than one application at various branches

We offer to save you time, energy and effort by applying at a local branch of home affairs for your Unabridged Death Certificate on your behalf. We will have this application moderated at head office and authorisation to print the Unabridged Death certificate sent to the branch, from where we will collect it.
Please contact the place of Burial or Cremation and request the Notice of Death as we will need this document to assist us in this process.
The certificate can be collected from our offices in person, or by your courier. We can also have the documents couriered to you and will get a price from our couriers when supplied with a return address.
The process takes on average 2 to 3 weeks.
Older Death certificates
We can have a Historian seek out the death notice at the National archives for deaths recorded before 1978. The Death Notice will assist in having the unabridged death certificate processed
